Where do you find parts for these bikes I have a 99’ yzf-r6 and want to do a full restoration but can’t find parts nor can I find performance parts as I want to upgrade it as well

Just found your vids along with just returning from hospital after hip fracture from fall after running out my door for the 3rd time to get on my 03 r6 and tripped. Pretty good feeling ill be educating myself during this down time.. Being unfit to ride after many years of not being able to either absolutely sucks. I'm forty in my first bike was an 03 in 03. Rode cpl yrs but Being back on one in the last couple months. Husband amazing because my knowledge is so much more. And i'm able to do appreciate the bike and it's just fun and it sucks Me rushing took it from me.. Anyways, can't wait to see what all you do.

hi mate quick question sorry bud, while I'm looking on youtube, I put the R1 yokes on my R6 rubbs against the plastic of the air line will that get worse or just be a little like that?? i could keep the yoke on it the thread was on the top so have to thread it now lol

ive followed you this bike before, i spoke to you about the wheels I got 1999 witch you helped me with me putting on the R1 forks, well as for wheels I got a set of 2006 R6 wheels the rear fits straight on the front I had to put 3x1mm spacers on them then they fit also witch makes it look sweet :)

Love to see the 5EB's getting some love. I do miss mine. I currently have an FZR250R 3LN6 that I am slowly fixing up. Surprise surprise carby trouble, and then the swingarm bearings decided to sound like a squeaky bed frame. Never nothing to do!

What do you set the float height to? They give a fuel level in the manual but f*ck that. There has to be a float height #

My front cluster keeps on burning my CDI box up is a short in the front cluster and I cannot find it I ordered a cluster but it's the wrong ones I guess it's from a newer one it has one extra pin on it I tried to change the plug but have the last one but I don't know how I got it right or not

If your lucky someones done the mod on the second gear or put an 03-05 transmission in it - I had the detuned FZ6 with that engine, and second gear was worrying - I sold it straight away losing a bag of sand on it. Robbing Sons saw me coming.

Hi I enjoy your videos but can you give more details on the 5eb to 5sl conversion is it only 1 mount that have to be welded and the rest is bolt on I'm following from south Africa

The shift fork of my FZ6-5VX system seems to be faulty. When it is in second gear, it easily switches back to neutral and then back to second gear instantly due to the continuous output. If I want to replace the shift fork, I need to disassemble the lower half of the engine?

Welcome back. I would like to see the liners being done and see the full rebuild of the rear swing arm. Or a restoration of the whole bike back to how it was when new. Good luck.

If you do reline a 98-02 model engine, do yourself a favour and drop a complete 03-05 improved gearbox into it, but I'm sure you know that

ive just fitted the 2006 year wheels to mine to I looked online so many forums talk so much shit its unreal the rear fists are straight on the front you have to space the brake discs 4mm each and it fits just in case you want to know

i followed you for the r1 fork conversion on my R6, im trying now to convert the rear and front end to look like the 2016 year ish if you know anything??

Currently dealing with a blow 5eb valve stuck hit piston, broke rod, and chipped camshaft counter weight. Cylinder walls still immaculate somehow?? Being a bit hard headed and instead of buying used engine. I’m doing a full rebuild. Thanks a lot for these videos. yours are the only ones I found for 5eb and this is my first ever engine rebuild. Been a tremendous help thus far. Thanks again

Thank you!! Seriously!!! Man, a lot of people show you how to do the clutch but not that part with the cover. Fucking brilliant!

Just heads up, those screws are pilot fuel screws, so the more you unscrew them, the more you add fuel on the part throttle openings. Best way to identify it is if the screws are before the pilot jet in the casting in the direction of airflow, then they're pilot air screws and supply air to the circuit. If they're after the pilot jet, then they're pilot fuel screws (as you have here) and supply fuel to the pilot circuit. Edit, I thought I'd add, you have some good content in your videos. I have a soft spot for these bikes and I wish I could find my old one that I bought new in 2000. They're still amazing bikes to this day.

I’m hoping that when I strip mine off it’s got a good ending. I really hope the liners are in good shape if not I suspect it’s going to cost a pretty penny to renew the liners but it is what it is. Thanks for your service pal I’ve learned a lot of stuff
