I just finished your UAC logo rankings and you had several programs ranked high from Texas, that had a Texas state silhouette used. I instantly knew Texas would be your #1 logo for the SEC. Will it be the old logo with the state of Texas silhouette with the Longhorn? Im at #2 right now...Nope, went with the straight Longhorn logo. Texas and Alabama are the 2 biggest college football logos in the world. So I'd have them 1/2 either way wouldn't be an issue. Here would be my top 5 SEC logos. #5. Tennessee #4. Auburn #3. Georgia #2. Alabama #1. Texas (Went with Texas at 1 to show no hard feelings lol)

North Alabama was a historic D2 program that hosted the D2 championship game for 27 years (1986-2013) and is the alma matter of Harlon Hill, player the D2 version of the Heisman is named after. If you dont know about Harlon Hill, look him up. Became one of the greatest recievers in Chicago Bears history, and still holds a couple of records for the franchise. UNA is also constructing a brand new multi purpose on campus football stadiums. Check it out if anyone likes checking out stadiums. UNA was the first scholarship level football program to win 3 straight national titles (1993, 94, 95) and I think are still the only D2 program to get an invite to the white house for their accomplishment. Will Hall, head coach So Miss is a former quarterback, and Harlon Hill award winner. UNA also is along side LSU with being the only 2 universities with live Lions and Tiger mascots. And are followed by PETA (I understand why PETA exists, but UNA has a wonderful sanctuary that they built for Leo and his female companion Una) Note: Una passed away a year ago, and Leo passed here recently. They're looking to get a couple of cubs from a place outta Maine, Vermont, or one of the zoos in the northeast. And they're also looking to upgrade the lion sanctuary also. And I totally agree with your take on their logo and the gold missing, like from their older designs. I think they should implement some of the gold back into their logo. The first Jax State Gamecock logo is known as the “Ass-Kickin’ Chicken” or AKC. They’ve been trying to integrate AKC into more of the branding. He’s actually going to be the midfield logo for this upcoming season! LET’S GO GAMECOCKS!!!

How do you leave out Bosse Field in the Frontier League? It’s the first municipally owned sports stadium and the third oldest baseball stadium in continuous use in the US. Plus, it was used in filming A League of Their Own. The entire state of Indiana has a great mix of ballparks from new/modern (Indy, Ft Wayne, South Bend, Lafayette, Kokomo) to historic (Evansville, Huntingburg)

I grew up close to Troy, so I'm always going to be a little biased about the Valleycats logo, having gone to so many games over the years. I grew up seeing guys like Jose Altuve, Hunter Pence, and Ben Zobrist don the iconic "Valleycats" script across their chest. To me, it'll always be a classic, with the giant muscular cat popping up out the valley, and just reminds me of being at Joe Bruno Stadium on a warm summer evening in upstate NY. That said, I do love the Slammers logo, and there's some sort of charm with the Schaumburg Boomers too! You should also do an updated version of the video- the Empire State Grays moved and became the New England Knockouts, and the Capitales also have an alternate logo that might push them up on the rankings a bit...

"That coaster out there in left field, the Cyclone..." Uh, hate to break it to you, but that (steel) coaster you see in left field is called Thunderbolt. The Cyclone is a wooden coaster and it's a lot further east. Also, glad you gave a shout-out to Victory Field in that set of "great view of the downtown skyline" ballparks. What makes Victory Field special is that it started the trend of bringing minor league parks closer to the city. Up to that point, the general trend had been to move minor league baseball teams to the suburbs, far away from the city center. Indianapolis decided instead to move from their old home at Bush Stadium--about two miles from downtown--to just outside of downtown proper. They bucked a major trend in doing so, and also started a new one. As for Fifth Third field... blame the bank who bought the sponsorship rights for that name. Fifth Third Bank isn't a small bank, either.

The POWERCAT was created when Bill Snyder came. He wanted a logo that didn’t have to say KState. Everyone would just know! Over 30 schools use the powercat! Of course people recognize the jayhawk. It SAYS ku right on it! It is a bird and not even a tough bird!!

The early 90s movie Necessary Roughness featured the fictional Texas State Fighting Armadillos (because there was no "Texas State" at the time). I think that when Southwest Texas State changed their name to Texas State, they missed a golden marketing opportunity by not changing their mascot to the Fighting Armadillos and their colors to the green and white of the movie TSU.

As a LSU fan that’s certainly is not our logo… take a look at our football helmets, our #1 logo the head of the tiger with LSU on top… Take a look at our baseball cap number two logo… The LSU letters kinda of generic and basic, used like a side of the court or on the basketball uniforms. It’s a totally basic logo, Not our Main Logo. To be honest, Cody football, baseball, and basketball all have totally different logos. You should do one for each sport to be fair.

I'm a Louisville fan, but if I had to pick an ACC logo that isn't Louisville as my favorite, it'd have to be Virginia. Those two sabres crossing under the V is a really classy look.

Glad you mentioned Canal Park in downtown Akron. I would rather go there than to Cleveland to see the Guardians. Hot dogs for instance are two bucks. Beers are three, and tickets are ten dollors. The people who work there are super nice as well. Oh ya, free parking too.
