..I was originally going to use this on my car but have decided to use as a base station antenna. In order to do this I've learned that I will need to create some form of 'ground plane' or add radials. Thus, I will need to test the antenna's SWR after I do this. Hence - video 1 - create a Jumper Cable for use with the SWR meter.
This is not a how-to. This is my journey. Any suggestions on why the SWR varied between the cable and non-cable tests would be appreciated. Cheers.

After searching around I found the cost of replacement filters was quite expensive. After practicing on our caravans other 5 windows I am today removing the old window seal trim and installing brand new bright white stuff! I also conduct some cleaning and basic maintenance. We purchased this chainsaw chain sharpener as I found the manual hand sharpeners to be somewhat cumbersome (or perhaps i'm just uncoordinated). Anyway, I reckon this little beauty worked a treat as can be seen by the final post sharpening test. Cheers, Steve. :-)

Purchased this GIANTZ gasoline ground auger off ebay recently. We will be using it to lay fence posts on our property. This is its unboxing and initial test. Works well in my parents sandy soil, not sure how it would go in clay soil. I'm sure it's powerful enough to run in clay soil - would just need a strong human to keep it still due to the torque produced. Anyway, I give this a big thumbs up...

Last time we were back in Chiang Mai we picked up a bidet spray / bidet shower / health faucet / bum gun. Call it what you may, after explaining to customs what it was we finally made it home and installed it. I originally hated using these things but now I don't feel clean without them! Go figure?
