I installed K102 GEN 4 / also went with the UAT that you recommended , when you did your CG at 190 to 195 did you just fill UAT only just close to going in the air with mine an getting any information i can thank so much for your help

Warren how are the 18mm throws for the elevator .. did you use the Manual control throws ? Or did you use more in elevator.. also did you measure from the very end of elevator or in the front ?

I have the same plane and and I suggest you mount the flap control rods inside the wing and come out on the opposite side of the hinges. Otherwise the flaps will not be held well

The covering isn’t the best , but it is a fun plane to build , I sprayed the wheel bays black and opened up the back of the nose wheel wheel bay for increased air flow. All wheel bays need re enforcement for durability. Wing tubes far too heavy . Like all ARFs needs a fair amount of adaptation. But is a solid beautiful aircraft at that gap in the EDF market 😊

Finally got mine today. Did I see that correctly in the manual that the vertical and two horizontal stabs are just held by one single screw each? No glue? PS: I wonder what Castle was thinking when they decided to make their ESC beep periodically to make it sound like it had no signal. I have a Castle ESC in a 3D plane that does exactly the same thing. I hate it.

Way too high to start a final. Ouch try to make a few full flap set up ,flybuys to trust you engine and flap settings. T45. Are really forgiving. But it will warn you. , if you see wing wag. It’s fixing to stall. !!

5 weeks ago turbine lag got me on aproach. Crashed my BAE Hawk. I did the worst thing and that was touch the controls before it built up speed. I should have trusted my Cortex Gyro and not tried to correct it myself. Lesson learned. I feel your pain.

I would come in a bit flatter or a shallower approach. So you build so. Much speed diving for the runway. You will get there though. A good technique for a go around is apply full throttle ( obviously). The n don’t touch any controls till speed comes back . Aslk me how I know, lol

Ya definitely needs the thinking 3-4 seconds ahead of the airplane. When Im flying turbines (which I am fairly new to also) I sing this chant in my head on approaches; ‘am I high or am I low, am I fast or am I slow’, maybe that can help. The attempt to climb before the spool up hurt to watch 😢

I must be getting old. I guess I’m the only one that still balance the horizontal stabs. Easy and well worth it takes loads off of the servo and surfaces.

I hate when rc pilots do unnatural flight movements. Takes away from cool factor. Wanna be a nerd, keep doing them. Like those kids who do the weird things with rc helicopters. Just dumb.
