The covering isn’t the best , but it is a fun plane to build , I sprayed the wheel bays black and opened up the back of the nose wheel wheel bay for increased air flow. All wheel bays need re enforcement for durability. Wing tubes far too heavy . Like all ARFs needs a fair amount of adaptation. But is a solid beautiful aircraft at that gap in the EDF market 😊
I also had a main retract fail after two cycles. It's unfortunate that Black Horse doesn't just work with JP Hobby to include those. I would have paid a little more.
This Viper build is Manufactured by Blackhorse model. BH does not sell Blackhorse models. But I do agree that the retracts on the Blackhorse model is not the best and also the covering is the worst I’ve seen. They look nice new out of the box but the moment you take the jet out in the sun it just blisters everywhere.
@@WarrenRC6373 BH=Black horse I ordered replacement motors for the gear assembly from JP Hobby. The BH gear have an internal failure point in the gearbox. Also, it's just self adhesive shelf paper with a design on it. Not much you can do to keep it perfect.
Thank you so much, absolutely love your ideas!
Glad you found my video helpful
Nice additions, would be great to see the process of how you got the actual wiring in the wings like you wanted them.
Nice 👍 Still one of the best Flying EDF Jets to use a 120 mm Fan. We did the First Prototype Test years ago.

Thanks for all series!!!
My pleasure!
Thank you do much for the video! Do you build for costumers?
Yes I do!

@@WarrenRC6373 Hi do you think that thicknes of main tube 1mm is enought? or 2mm is better? is model still flying with that? thanks
@@miskop7114I’d go with a 2mm carbon tube. Last I know the jet is still flying.

@@AphexTwinIIaw gotcha with the BH my apology I misunderstood the acronym used.
Do yourself a favor and get rid of the mains, there soft junk. Also rip all the crappy covering off and redo it. It blisters BAD in the sun.
Assembly complete the Jet is already with the owner.
