Andrey Rublev, Crazy or Genius?
One of the players we are used to seeing in the deciding stages of the biggest tournaments in the world these days is Andrey Rublev. With his massive forehand and iconic grunt, he has managed to gain the love and respect of fans and colleagues, especially for being regarded as one of the nicest and kindest guys on tour. However, as soon as he enters the court, it seems like he turns into a completely different person. The kind and relaxed Rublev transforms into a guy who is unable to control his emotions.

We Need to Talk About David Goffin..
Переглядів 10 тис.День тому
A former world number 7, the only Belgian player to ever be inside the top 10 of the ATP rankings and therefore the best to ever do it from that country, David Goffin used to be one of the most consistent players on tour. It is a name that we were used to seeing in the later stages of the most important tournaments very often, for a long period of time. However, that has not been the case durin...
What Happened to Richard Gasquet?
Переглядів 29 тис.14 днів тому
No matter how long you’ve been following tennis for, I am sure you know, or have at least heard about Richard Gasquet. Yes… even though we don’t see as much from him as we used to for the past two decades, he is still grinding on the tour, even playing some Challengers. If people 20 years ago could know about this, they would definitely be surprised that the future star of French tennis, arguab...
10 Richest Tennis Players (#1 Will Surprise You!)
Переглядів 4 тис.21 день тому
It is no secret that tennis stars make incredible amounts of money. Don’t get me wrong. Being a good tennis player does not make you a millionaire, by any means. What’s more, living from tennis is more difficult than with any other sport. At the lower levels of professional tennis, you really do need to perform week in and week out, just to break even. However, there are those great players, wh...

Just a few days ago, Argentinian player Diego Schwartzman announced that his professional career is coming to an end next season. While it seems like an early announcement, it is something that could be anticipated considering his performances over the last year and his public declarations as well. Diego himself had already given hints about it, but now it is official. He is most likely retirin...
The 7 Sinful vs 7 Heavenly Tennis Players
Переглядів 8 тис.Місяць тому
It is very likely that you will have heard about the 7 deadly sins and the 7 heavenly virtues. However, you have certainly never related those to tennis. Upon some thinking, I figured out that it is possible to associate a player to each and every one of the 7 sins and the 7 virtues. Without further ado, let’s run through each of them and see which player fits the best. A good way to start woul...
The SAD Story of Boris Becker

7 Times TENNIS Players Went TOO Far

Tennis players are characterized for being very strong mentally. They are used to being under pressure, and in most cases, manage their emotions without even demonstrating their nerves. Recently, there have been a number ...

When Roger Federer failed to beat Bjorn Borg's 5 in a row Wimbledon record by losing to Rafa Nadal in the 2008 final, he probably realised that the worst thing that could happen to him was to lose his number 1 spot and drop down to 3rd in the world rankings. Even when that did happen Federer was able to regroup, come back and win another 3 Wimbledon titles - not to mention a further 5 Grand Slam titles. I think if Bjorn Borg was more accepting of his position and was able to regain motivation, he could have done exactly the same or similar as you don't become a has been at tennis at 26 years of age. Also remember when Federer lost to Nadal in the 2008 Wimbledon final, he was the same age as Borg when he retired from tennis.
