  • Tennis players are characterized for being very strong mentally. They are used to being under pressure, and in most cases, manage their emotions without even demonstrating their nerves. However, it has happened that, eventually, a player loses his mind and lets everything out. This can either be smashing their racket, swearing at their team, or in other ways. Recently, there have been a number of cases in the main tour, where different players were unable to hold their nerves and acted wrongfully. Therefore, they were disqualified, in what must be one of the most shameful situations to be a part of as a professional athlete. Many players have gone through these situations, some of which you probably don’t expect.

    I’m not justifying Michael Ymer’s actions. However, the umpire’s incompetence and laziness led Ymer to act the way that he did. Also, what the shapovalov clip doesn’t show is how IMMEDIATELY he was remorseful for what he did. Even at the shake of hands, having been disqualified, shapovalov said “I’m so sorry dude”. At 17, he was a lot more mature than Novax is now

      Wrong. This guy, Ymer, is exactly the kind of “Swedish” that puts Sweden to shame. This is the only part of his career that will be remembered, as he fell into ostracism.

    Kyrgios really needs to fix his horrendous attitudes on the courts, he wouldn't shut his mouth when tennis umpires were making decisions by checking the lines on the courts and other things they did.

      Kyrgios is the only player in history ever to smash a racquet, yell at umpires, question line judges, storm off court, swear at his box. No other player has ever acted in such a manner. The seven times he did that have all been played over and over and over. The many times every other player did that are buried. Well done. Add Rublev to that now. And Sinner is not happy either. And Carlos has smashed quite a few racquets, tried to break his arm on his chair and battered his legs. But only Kyrgios has an attitude?

    I don't know what NK is like outside tennis, but as far as I'm concerned within tennis world, he's a veritable a-hole. He's definitely not any kind of role model for aspiring tennis players.

    Rublev’s case was very unfortunate for him. Looking back at the clip, it was recently noticed that he did not swear to the line judges. While his actions of screaming into the line judge may have been too far, it is totally unfair to disqualify him without even checking back and confirming if he actually swore at the line judge. And they even initially took away all of his points without any confirmation which is ridiculous. Glad that he got the points back

    • @sportslover2356
      @sportslover2356 Місяць тому +2

      He should not have got his points back. He should have been dq'd for screaming at the line judge. Doesn't matter what he said in what language. Imagine if Kygios did that. He would have been suspended for a year and many media demanding a life ban. But Rublev got his points and money back!!!!

    • @rc9_stella30
      @rc9_stella30 Місяць тому +3

      @@sportslover2356I would kind of agree with you if Rublev was dqd for screaming at the line judge which is pretty acceptable. However this was not the case. The point where it was very unfair for rublev is that he got dqd for swearing at the person more than the screaming.

      @@sportslover2356 players work extremely hard and give it their all , just for losing due to incorrect calls by linesman 🤔

    • @9y2bgy
      @9y2bgy Місяць тому

      @@chetanyakalra4300 Then they can call lines themselves. That is the format of ALL sports where players at the professional level do not self call. When athletes win, they don't credit referees/lines judges for wins. So neither should they fault them for losing. You can ask them to own bad calls, but they don't own losing games.

      4:20 look again, its in slow mo and you can see the way he hit the ball, its with pace even if its not full strength. The ball bounced like 10ft away after hitting her throat from a distance of over 30ft, its obviously far stronger than just a tap. Also, it hit her on her throat and it caused damage and that's why the disqualification was given. Djokovic obviously had no intention to hit the lineswoman but so is Nalbandian and Shapovalov. The all had no ill intentions but couldn't contain their anger and hit the ball way harder than it needs to be and most importantly it caused damage to the linesperson or umpire *outside* of play.

    Most of these are many years old. Kyrgios was dq'd in 2019. Rome crowds are feral and no player of colour goes unless he has to. Kyrgios was being racially abused. The supervisor could not control the crowds. Eventually he shook hands with the referee, supervisor and opponent. Guess what the opponent did! Crowed and beat his chest with joy! Never seen that in an opponent where a player has been dq'd. Ever. Such a gentleman! That's Casper Ruud. But that's not in the video. Kyrgios never played on clay again. Clickbait SLM
