It has been 1 year already that I have been for the first time in Thailand (12 days : BKK, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Patong) and I think I have discovered the most precious land in the world. I am sad as I speak, I so wanted to go back this year but due to unforseen circomstances, I could'nt. Next year for sure, and I will make sure to spend as much time as possible discovering "non touristic" places and enjoy more of the local vibe !
I really know what you mean. The first time I came to Thailand it was like a different world. I also prefer the non touristic places. I have never been to Phuket for that reason. All of Thailand I find extremely beautiful and the people are friendly. Thanks so much for the comment and hopefully you can come back soon.
