I don't understand, why in the end did he just throw his pieces away? Didn't he have a great chance of winning? ÉDidn't he have an advantage piece? He could have traded the bigger pieces and tried to win. Could someone explain this to me? I'm confused.

I love your videos. I've been watching them for years when the old site was still being used. One particular thing about Stratego which always perplexed me was proper play of the Sargeants. Unlike Miners and Scouts, they don't have SPECIFIC special abilities,and in THAT way they are a weaker Lieutenant. But from what I've seem from better players like you, it's the FLEXIBILITY of the Sargeants that they can use a wider swarth strategic elements with a bit more risk than a Lieutenant, but can do so in any game from start to finish. Love to hear your views on this. Keep up the good work.

First of all, I have been watching your videos for years and I find them extremely enjoyable, and the commentary substantial and professional. My question is this: It seems to me from watching videos and the time I played Stratego in my formative years (I am in my late 50's), sergeants tended to me the one piece that had the least "bang for their buck" because Miners and scouts have special abilities. I am not competition, but I would appreciate any insight you have to this. I am NOT saying that sergeants are unimportant, as no piece is.

Wait, I am confused. Isn't an auto-loss for any piece one-on-one against a miner when bombed-in (other than another miner, and then dependent on number of squares between respective flags)? Pretty sure the non-miner has to keep backing away until there's no space left to defend. This has been my experience anyway. EDIT: The "when bombed-in" part referring to a situation in which there is one miner v. one scout and the player w/the miner has an open flag.

Hello, it is hard to listen to with the loud sound of the pieces moving. For commentary maybe it would be better for the sounds to be off.

The sound volume is very low in this video.

Hi, can you explain your move with gen and also im so confused with his move to not hit the lower piece since you didnt took it immediately and he can always scout the one heading to him, maybe im missing something but still learning, explanation would be helpful :))

I'm kinda new to Stratego, so please excuse my ignorance; however, it seems to me that this kind of hyper aggressive strategy works. It flusters opponents and limits their options; often making them shuffle around more pieces than normal. Am I wrong thinking this or was this all just lucky lottoing?

i feel like its really remarkable how you just didnt get triggered even after winner being so lucky in the early game. Many ppl would have freacked out already. Really good mindset :)

Wow! He just called every one of your pieces... that is so annoying. Nothing you can really do in that situation where players use a bingo style compared to strategic thinking. For some players doing this rampaging is fun, but for me I have to say it feels boring. I like the thinking aspect of the game compared to the luck factor. What separates the good from the great is being able to still win even if the opponent is extremely lucky. This is obviously a one off for you as you are ranked #2 on the site. I hope we can play again soon and both record, for anybody reading this comment on my channel I have a great game vs Losermaker. As u say, CHEERS!
