Really late response, sorry. Yes, purely after information. At that point in the game, I prefer to know at least one major+ piece, cause that gives me something to work with in terms of setup assumptions/reasoning and bluffs. For this reason, I will often sacrifice a captain early on. This can come back to bite you end-game though.

Why did you approach unknown piece with your captain at 0:43? Were you just looking for information or did you have some reason to expect a bluff?
