@df1991. yeah mate best line I have used! The 15 lb is like gold dust ain't it! I spoke to thinking anglers not long ago and they reckon in a next couple of months they will restock everywhere
Got the 13ft 3.5 SU totally different animal. And they are a casting machine..if that's your thing 😊 As an example.. same effort compared to tx4 intensity...the helical beats it . What a rod for money 💰...brilliant
@mattyburrows9059 lmao....and guess what...carp do on all lakes ,consistently visit the margins....all that casting 35 wraps stuff..it's bollocks in my opinion...just good to be able to have the tools for the job if needed... don't mean 9,10 times I'm chucking distance...I'm not... but don't tell anyone your doing it... it's not carpy these days 😂
@mattyburrows9059 incorrect, atleast places I've fished. Not saying your wrong in your experience, but definitely not the case in mine. Visited a very well known complex last Sunday.. one lake 50 odd acres...I can assure you the one bank I looked at was 5/ 6 ft 3 rod lengths out. No way are carp not visiting at some point, key is keeping noise to a minimum. And patience.
Free spirit rods normally quality (over the years I’ve had e class through to hi’ives) and rate the 13ft ctx’s spod/marker rods as a great compromise in cost =performance with 30 wraps being hit consistently with 20lb braid and a shock leader. I’ve always had ceramic guides against minima guides as I’ve seen some used with braid having grooves in them. 👍🏻
Quality I had a set of ctx 3.5 12fts used them till ruined them was gonna get set of creepers 10fts but ended up getting fox x3's out onto the next adventure or review 🎣👊
There not bad rods but 3 friends of mine have had them and the minima guides have warn grooves in them and free spirit replaced them there a lovley rod but lots of people have had the same problem . A shame realy as there a nice rod ...minima guide all groove no matter what make the grooves are
Nice review I am definitely thinking of getting a set of these 👏
fish eye lens is great for reviewing straight objects!

Good video mate. What mainline do you use?
15lb ogx mono mate from thinking anglers...its an awesome line 👌💪
@@ChunksterFishing I've got the 12lb because I can't get the 15lb anywhere and think it's the bollocks. The best line I've used

@@darreneastwell3318 pits you need to cast..the edges are like a beach..for 100ft the water is less than 12 inches deep😂

Awesome Darwin! Defo think I'm a green spirit convert 🤣🙈
Soft ? Look like the complete opposite in the video, hardly bending other than the very tip ?
What I mean is the tip mate, compared to other rods I have used 👍

Was this using braid or mono mainline?
