This was brought for me from my girlfriend she isn't well off but spent the last bit of money on me fir this kit or similar. I was made fun of by other carp angalers, being called a tramp and all that. At one point so eone told me to fuck off back to Poland 😮 I was quit new to carp fishing at the time. Came from float foshing a feeder. But i tel you what I showed them all up was 3 other people on this lake taking the piss out of me. With all there fancy gear And caught more than all them put together. Not everyone can afford this top carp gear. Only thing that i found was really shit was the bivvyv its more a wind day shelter.. isnt waterproof what so ever. Nice one chunk. I don't usually comment, but this brought me back to my roots. Ive swaped it all put now since ive soend 1000s on gear lol 😅😂. But kinda wish i didn't looking back at this. You really dknt beed expensive hesr to have fun carp fishing .. but i do love buying tackle lol. 😅😂. Should have just done drugs would be cheaper 😅😂😅😂😅😅😂. Stil have all thebgear now and i lend it to my pals that dont have fishing gear. If they cone usually get them a day licence. They still catch on them rods and reels one of mine was wonkey too 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂 nice too see wonkey eye guid guy still working 💪 also the lucky rod 😅😂😅😂😅.

God i had to make a lot of my own gear in the 70s 80s for carping still miss the days when hardly anyone fished for carp todays carp anglers and myself I suppose, have never had it so good for carp fishing just wish it was like the old days no other carp anglers on the bank.

To be fair I brought amazon special reels your using in this video iv had mine since I started fishing 10 years ago and other then it being beaten up on the paint they still do the job perfectly caught my first pike in that reel and line
had the bite alarm pod for about 2 years now and it just started to have issues last trip 😅 spreader bar between the bottom part and the rails has gone so still working till i upgrade also looks beter now its not so high the swingers ive used once as line didnt come out very esay with a 70ib catfish running wild.
Brooo when you said it wasn’t good luck about the red skies and said there was only 1 rod left , I thought the whole rod got took off the pod and into the drink😂😂

Mate have you seen the new ngt deluxe landing net 27 quid it's the same as what trakker nash and other sell for 100 quid where the arms clip in to the block
I bought this to get me started Bivvy got chucked first. Alarms worked fine until I fished in heavy rain I got about 3 months out of the rod pod before that broke and the unhooking mat is as good as the Bivvy the rods and reels on the other hand I still use I even got an Oakwood spod rod 5lb tc use it all the time. Pb of 25lb on the rods they coped fine
When I started carping 20yr+ ago, I had a zebco (Argos) setup. People laughed but I still caught fish. I don't know why beginners buy thousands of ££ of kit, most of them quit after a couple of sessions. Now when I upgrade kit I give my old kit to youngsters who are really into it but can't afford full setups

I used an NGT full setup, veeery similar in 2018, did the job for a few months, but quickly started to upgrade.
