I got this one on Stupid Deal of the Day at Musicians Friend a while back. It came with a cracked neck so I returned it and am getting a replacement, It's been back ordered almost a month. Nice video. Love the cat shirt. Just found it on Amazon and it's coming tomorrow. I share your love of SGs. My first serious guitar was a 1968 Gibson SG Standard that I bought new. It was stolen and then recovered. I just worried about it too much so I sold it. Big mistake. I'm going to ease my way back to SGs by way of this Special. I've got the feeling it won't be the last.

Favorite Piece of gear was the Tease SBH-HD. I have tough times finding Teles I bond with. They are killer guitars, have strats and super strats to.

I have two questions-since it has hb and a ss--what volume pot does it have 250k or 500k?--heard the restringing process of these offsets are different is this a problem to be concerned with?

I have an old Indonesian made one that's been gathering dust. Intend to restart my guitar journey again soon.

Recently bought a 2004 squire strat as a project, currently fighting with the trem bridge. Added two extra springs and it's still not sitting level. Have 10s on so I don't think it's that. Any ideas?

My favorite piece of gear is my Ibanez TS-808HW. The cost was ridiculous but I definitely love the tones I get out of it.

I had purchased this same guitar before you did and I agree with you ,its a great guitar , however you seem very unfamiliar with this guitar , if you removed the cover for the electronics you would have seen how it was wired and you wouldn't come off so confused and fumbling about using the coil tapping switch, however the main reason I won't be subscribing to your channel is the foul language, its inappropriate and unprofessional!!!

I subscribed partially for the giveaway but also because the no bs straight forward attitude and because he uses the term “coil tap” LIKE GOD INTENDED. 😂

My favorite is my Bulgera V5 amp

I have the md300 which is the more premium version of this and also a ms450. Best guitars under $300 all day. Both record very well and I downtune the md300 all the way to Drop A and C standard using different gauge strings no problem. Had to file nut but these guitars are sleepers man. Kill a squire or epiphone all day.

Should i buy the debut series tele or the affinity squier tele?

I got one from Adorama for $200. Took a lot of work to get it playable. I put on a new bridge with adjustable saddles, new knobs, took off the pickguard. I also leveled the frets. Plays nice now. I like the P90, but the Broadtron I found a bit nasaly. What a value.

My favorite piece of gear is my Epiphone 1959. I remove the pickup covers and glipped the magnet in the neck and swapped the knobs to make it a little more Greeney.

Truly Awsome guitars as is… that being said I did two significant mods… I removed the switch in favor of a vol vol tone setup… much more useful! The second more resent mod was to swap the neck p90 with a mexi-fender tele neck pickup…the fender now sports the Epo’s neck p90… both hybrids are great sounding variations of a theme…. Agreed the tuners should be updated on mine and defiantly the nut both yet to be completed; the nut works but tends to grab strings which only makes the cheap tuners work harder and cheaper lol… never the less truly awesome less than 200$ guitar without any mods!!!… I like to mod stuff so it’s a great platform for exploring options on a budget….

The Mackie 1202vlz pro is my favorite gear of the year. Paired with some powered monitors I need no amp and can mix any stuff together.

The Spark Air control works great. No need for the app. BUT you can’t use the app with the air! So, I have both.

My favorite piece of gear that I bought this year was a Harley Benton HB-35 Plus (an amazing 335 copy). I also bought a Melody Maker from you a couple of months ago. I'm now avoiding Facebook marketplace to save money.

This video is really cool, and man, that Mustang really looks great 😭 that slick, thin body is my thing. I've been an avid Nirvana listener when I was younger when I was in 8th grade (and now I'm in college, still playing all the music I loved) Earlier this year I bought a piece of gear that I don't regret and it's the Marshall Valvestate 2000, I fell in love how it sounded when I plug in, and up to this day I use it as a go-to for practicing or finding my correct tone. And that really saturated tone (whether I'm playing clean or overdriven) from the tube amp is a chef's kiss for me. Loved the video, really gave an intricate and interesting explanation on what this guitar is.

I was actually looking into getting one of these sonic series mustangs recently and saw your video on the single coil version and now you’re giving one away! Very kind of you. My favorite gear bought this year was a squier standard telecaster, it’s the first fender guitar I’ve personally owned and I love it to death now, part of why I’ve been looking into getting a mustang lately.

I was thinking about buying one of these for a dual p90 build, do you know if they would fit with the factory routing?

Tried one of these at my local dealers... and I was shocked; it was great! Then I tried the J-45 and decided that there was sufficient difference to justify the price difference. Still haven't bought one yet though - I'm finding a slimmer body, with an electric neck is probably the next purchase!

My favorite piece of gear is a 90’s Peavey Predator that I found in the trash one night walking home from work. Slowly restored it. It’s nothing crazy, but it has a story and was a good find.

I just received my SECOND Debut , ordered some prewired pick guards, 1-HSS & 1- Single Humbucker at bridge , it's called an EVH setup on Guitar Fetish , I also bought 2- Trem bridges with brass saddles and a large brass block.

Always cool to see another giving away guitar's. Some are so into themselves. They say, i can never give away a guitar. Thryre missing out.
