We were in Rugby waiting for the tree to be moved. No one had been passed for days until on Tuesday a prosession of boat came through including yourself Sonia, so we figured the tree had been cleared but the website not updated. We got to Brinklow, moored for lunch only to have a guy from CRT tap on the boat. They had just spent an hour getting a boat off the tree!! It rained through the night, Hubby used his fishing line to test where the tree was under the water. It was only 30 inches under the water. We are deep drafted. We passed with only a couple of inches spare on the port side. Someone did tell us later that they needed to bring in bigger equipment to deal with it because when the started cutting it up where it met the towpath the main trunk slid further into the canal.

What a good job done by all in less than comfy conditions. Super driving into the marina and parking up in those conditions. Thank god Willow found the camera otherwise we would have hardly seen her. Time now to pull back and charge your batteries again. See you all on the next one!

Big Happy New Year to my favourite people especially Willow. She is so good running up and down the path and then doing what she is told, a full controlled dog is a happy dog with happy parents. Loved it all. Are you able to get Sky for Tony to be able to watch the football? Via the internet maybe. I use Sky Glass at home, what a lot of dross that has dropped out! Safe journey till I see you again!

Well, Willow that was darn enjoyable, your assistants are doing a wonderful job, other than calling you back when you have just found the best stick in the world. I do so enjoy watching you two, three. Learn things as well, may not seem important but adds a lot to interest and enjoyment for me. The electrical fault was a bit like a "happening" on a computer, shut down and start again routine. You won't forget that one. Paul your helper is very good a craftsman like work, I watch them as well. Of course, they have a dog, Ernie, no dog no watch is my motto! Thanks for the valued entertainment have a great New Year. Not too many drinks on New Years eve especially Willow. Already looking forward to the next instalment from you great lunatics!
