I own a hero 10. Don’t buy it. Trust me. It overheats. Low light quality is bad. The battery bloats like a balloon due to the heating thus the battery gets stuck in the gopro. There are a lot of better options out there. Don’t buy this one. You’re welcome. Hth.

Nope , not for me , but the indoor footage looked ok , but would not give up normal camera , i much preferred your GH5 footage and the full frame Sony you used after that one, cheers for the demo though . 😊

Great video, you mentioned gain settings in the camera being around 12-15, BUT you did not mention what the gain was on your external Rode mic while using these settings, and really we need to know that, or it makes all else moot…

Did you get also "something like dropping frames" with 8K 24p ... once I see it it's really obvious. What speed of SD Cards do you use?

Hello, I am wondering if this camera would be good for filming at clubs/raves. Its ofc very dark but it has to capture a lot of flickering lights and stuff like that.

Either you killed the footage in post processing, or that drone's camera is shit.

I worked with Sony and Pana S5IIX, and pana AF is faster than Sony. Pana has better af now, or the same as Sony.

Do you do ML on it? Do you know someone who does? How does it perform?

Bought a Mac Studio myself as I didn't wait for the M4 processors. Cooling and ports are important to me. Regarding USB hubs and SSD M2 boxes - Recomend Ugreen. Works great, I work with several synths and a midi keyboard in Logic Pro, everything works fine. That Sarechi stand looks stylish, but why all the ports to the outside? And i know there are problems with the wi fi signal there. It took me a long time to choose a company for USB ports and I still chose Ugreen. We have Satechi and all sorts of others in Russia, but people trust Ugreen the most. Unfortunately 3D Max is still only for PCs. I don't understand why Autodesk doesn't release this programme for Mac.

Literally nobody needs a studio with the power of all the other varieties. Instead of connecting 4 SSDs just get a huge one (6-8TB). or 2...The you can use them everywhere you want and don't need to manage 4 hard drives... Ports are nice but not worth the increased price of the studio

If I didn't edit on my laptop, I'd definitely pick this up...

This video was originally planned to be released on my tech channel. But because I mostly talk about it from the perspective of a content creator, editing videos etc. in my head it made more sense to release it here. hope you like it.

It's one year later since this was released, are your thoughts still the same? I have been scripting word-for-word in my videos as well, because there are a lot of technical details to cover (i do tech product reviews) and I don't want to keep rambling / spend to much time during editing out fillers. But just like you, I also do hope I can show a bit more authenticity. Becca Farsace is one UA-camr that I look up to a lot, because her B-rolls are like super mini-vlogs, which enhances the authenticity. But for A-rolls and narrations, i have the feeling that she is using a teleprompter

Selfie camera looked like crap, but the second one you used looked nice and sharp. I've always heard that the selfie camera is the worst camera on the phone. The wide angle looked like crap as well.

Feel like the dynamic range is too much these days in phone cameras, there's hardly any deep shadows like you'd get on a camera specifically made for recording video.

I would really appreciate 4K time lapse on my Sony a6400. Also, it sounds like 2K video might be worth while, and some limited 10-bit video support.

if you can tell the difference between 1080p and 4k you are sitting to close to the screen
