basically everyone has their wrongs and noone's perfect, Gackt has a strong attitude and character but his atittude was legit ans understandable, also we dk exactly the type of relationship Yukie Ito had with the others, esp Mana and their state of mind...I wouldn't blame anyone particularly on that (the music industry is what is it), there may be a big cultural side we're not used to that prob explains everything...I'm just so happy they're on relatively good terms and that Gackt secretely followed MM after his departure ;w;

Thank you so much for making this video on one of my favorite bands. Though something I would like to know is. Are they really Neo-Ns? Karen does have some evidence of this due to the conspiracy stuff you mentioned. Also that photo of Peron flashing in their video was sus to me. But funny enough I can ""excuse"" the memorabilia they wore as that actually was a thing a number of Japanese bands did back in the day. I can remember off the top of my head LUNA SEA did it, i think Sugizo straight up wore a SS cap with the totenkopf and everything in the Rosier MV. Also X Japan has used some Nazi-like imagery, like on their album cover for "Blue Blood" which Karen mentioned in their massive list of favorites. I could believe they were edgelords and the imagery was used for shock value since I don't sense Nazi values leaking into their music. (Of course I may be wrong, that's just a theory, A MUSIC THEORY.)

It’s interesting seeing people have a eureka moment thanks to a well written reddit post, when all the bits of the puzzle were out there for years… people just preferred to see Gackt as a betraying liar and that shows how effective midi+nette’s smear campaign against him was. What happened to MM is an insight behind the scenes of an industry that was generating a lot of money and attracting greedy ppl and even the underworld at the height of its popularity in the 90s. Columbia and Crown are separate labels; Gackt chose Crown because they offered him creative freedom and a big share of royalties, as opposed to the mainstream labels that could’ve gotten him countless nr 1 hits with a lesser contract and forcing him to make songs that do well in the karaoke charts. Gackt always knew very well what he wanted; money and the freedom to do whatever he wants that comes with it, and with MM he was getting neither.

i remember people always coming up with different theories but seeing this is really refreshing, thanks for this!

For a while I started to dislike Gackt after seeing hundreds of rumors that left him in a bad light even though I knew they couldn't be completely reliable and over time I began to see him in a different way, for me Gackt is someone who still has appreciation for the other members and his past within visual kei. I still like him as a vocalist and his current music is good. Thank you very much for sharing this information so that everyone really knows why he left MM
