Who do you think is more relevant for visual kei being such a huge thing? Yoshiki or Gackt?
I'd say Yoshiki. X Japan was the band that kickstarted vkei and it was already pretty well-established when Gackt came to the scene as a solo artist. But he definitely did popularize it a lot.

I do talk about it in one of the next parts of the iceberg (I don't remember which one). The tax investigation into him revealed that he pays child support to a woman in Canada, so I'd say it's confirmed. He himself has never commented on it though.
