How are you recording the amp? The sound in the video sounds like the overtones are being chopped of. The input signal on your daw looks totally squared as well. There’s something not set up right

GOD MOD that amp! You'll have infinity gain & infinity mids! Guy who setup Metallica & Kiss live stage show tube amps taught me this! I just told the world about this trade secret! Use same model power tube! Use any brand tube! Get power tubes with 1 or 2 lower power rating! The lower power rating you go! The more distortion! That amp probably has a 6 power rating tube! Put tubes in with 4 power rating! Your tube dealer knows this secret! Ask them! Here is the link to my video explaining all this! Checkout my amp! I can't bring myself to spend big $$ on anything but a PRS guitar... the Fender, Gibson, others are fine at the lower end but when you're stepping into the $10,000 range, you only get your money's worth from a PRS... they're the original luxury guitar.

About 10 years ago I was testing the pedals. I didn't get DS-1, but really loved super overdrive. The thing is that there's a overdrive -distortion pedal, which is since my absolute favourite. Just set OV/DS knob at 9-11, rest follows according to your taste and situation. Thanks for the video and cheers from Kyiv

Sounds awefull... The um300 is a better choice... It's the best pedal to boost an amp or overdrive to make it tight and more metal... Like a tubescreamer dial out the distortion...

TC Electronic Eyemaster does the same thing but has a metal enclosure. The EQ stack is maxed out, and there are only volume and gain knobs. Behringer and TC are both MusicTribe brands owned by Uli Behringer.

started with this then was given a MXR Fullbore Metal at work. Night and Day difference! Get what you can afford but you get what you pay for and Behringer pedals are very low budget.

The Behringer pedals have such a soft enclosure, the pot metal breaks. The jacks and the input for dc power are quite weak. For the price good, but just buy a boss used. Or buy two of these.

Boss MT-2 pedal has been my go-to forever. I play melodic metal so that's probably why. Will have to check this out for sure though🤘
