Personally i find as a console player i don't have to worry about misclicks of a button next to another as often and i find it so much easier to not have to fiddle with settings and spec requirements each time i look at a new game i want.

I would have bought ff7 p2 on ps5 but I played ff7 p1 on pc in vr and it can't play it any other way.

I bought the game… but only have a steam deck so got a three month account for Xbox cloud 😂 and watched the best video maker ever video on how to install that on steam deck lol and I have to say totally worth it! Thanks guys! Hoping next time festive hats for the season! 😃🤩🎅🏻🎄

The voice actor is Troy Baker, of Uncharted fame!! He's uncanny. Hundred percent with you guys, I'm only two hours in but couldn't understand the decision making when opening a door or lifting a log and pushing the thumbstick in whatever direction. It doesn't make the game any more immersive! Just let me press X and be done with it!!!

Dogs: best IRL, worst in games. Water is totally scary if you’re under water, especially in the ocean. Ecco the Dolphin is a horror game, imo.

It was a great last one xD, As I said in the member's discord I didn't catch the game awards so I got a list of all the games shown and basically picked what to watch to see if the hype got me and a few did, Borderlands 4 is one that I am looking forward to quite a bit, on the whole, Indiana Jones and the great circle I have yet to try so over the holidays I may load it onto the Ally X so that I have something to play if I am not at home, though I will say that Bethesda game studios had nothing to do with the game (famous for bugthesda) and Machine games have a good record anyway and I still lament the whole arkane studios being disbanded.

I would love to play RDR2 PS5 update, heck i would even buy the game again to have a ps5 version !! Really interested to see what valve do in terms of a console happening or not but something is being tested thats for sure and if they do then Microsoft and Sony will have to adapt there stores to how steam runs there's i think. Ubisoft are awful at making games they have great ideas but they are so broken and janky or have stupid in game mechanics

Got Bazzite on my ally. Runs smooth sleep suspend works very well. No idea why you're having any issues! Dual booting with windows. Has been phenomenal. Simple decky controls on Tdp over the hhd!

Amd provides the gpu for Sony probably on par with a 6700 or 6800 xt

I love the idea of the ease of use for Steam OS on my Ally X but I love my Xbox games on the Ally X. I don't think I could ever get rid of windows. I absolutely love that I can play Playstation, Xbox, Windows, AND Steam games, I just feel like I won't get all of those things if I switch to Steam OS.

For me, the sonic games nowadays are pretty good. It's not the best but good. Usually, my rating on Sonic are between 5 and 7 out of 10

This whole push it out now fix it later cancer pisses me off. No other industry gets away with this and there are laws in place especially in the uk that stop this in other industry’s. Imagine buying a car and the radio and 2 seatbelts are missing for the company to say come back in 6 months and we will fix it or going for a meal paying for 3 courses up front then being told to come back in a year for your dessert. Not only does that all sound ludicrous but people just wouldn’t have it. The games industry needs heavy regulation to stop this crap. You’re buying an unfinished undercooked product and it’s unacceptable.

I doubt that devs are lazy and have always hated that argument. There can be a skill/ experience issue depending on the team. But ultimately everything likely comes down to money. I don't think people realise how expensive it can be to run a studio, listening/reading Jason Schriers books were eye opening in that regard. So a lot of games/ things will either get cut or patched later due to timings needing to be met to release the game. It could even be because the publisher has decided they need to release a game in a certain fiscal quarter to meet financial targets so they can maximise their bonus which puts the devs in a harder position.

The rush to 4k killed quality on release.

Games are rushed out because of high speed internet I believe. In the PS2 and era before, if a game was launched broken, it was always broken. Developers (or rather publishers/gaming execs) know that a game can be launched with issues to get to market quicker, and patch it later. Gamers have basically become QA testers...

I have conceded to just getting a game on sale, a year or so down the line as hopefully all of the bugs have been removed. I tried the new flight sim 2024 and it was (and still is) so buggy that it is almost unplayable. Even to this day I have a massive red man holding an error sign, standing half-way out of the windscreen. Haha so stupid. I'm totally happy with games having massive system requirements as long as they can be scaled down to moderate system requirements by lowering the graphics settings. With that said, if it looks like a turd and still requires a 4060, then that definately is an issue.

At 25:00 Andy talks about windows not resuming if you are already in a game - I use hibernate, which works absolutely fine in this regard. I resume from Hibernate and my game is still open from where I left off? At least on Red Dead 2 it does!

For me star wars outlaws was unplayable i was getting artifacting that was so game breaking and skybox breaking i hadn’t seen any of it like that online, turned out its a problem with windows 10 and 10th gen motherboards and cpu’s i have a 10900 and i had to install a bios update fix something to do with cpu votlages? Not sure I understood it fully but it was to do with voltages in the cpu and potentially these cpu’s would deteriorate and this bios update was supposed to limit it effectively stopping the problem but making my pc worse. It fixed star wars outlaws though

If Microsoft is going to focus the handheld on gamepass rather than good portable games, then i dont think its going to sell well.
