What an informative video! Thanks for breaking down all of her uses of poison. The poisoning that I most vividly remember is from a Miss Marple story. The victim made a phone call saying she needed pilocarpin to treat the poison she was administered. Unfortunately, the lady on the other end, didn't understand and heard it as "pile of carp"

Thank you. Wow, so many poisons out there but, in saying that, she must have had great intelligence to include them in books. In such simple , everyday things. Tea, cocoa, s cocktail etc. so clever. Far less messy than knives and guns, bit more difficult to detect. Especially back then. Thanks once again 🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺

Another absolutely fascinating instalment, with loads of excellent detail. Well done. Christie's pharmacological knowledge was obviously profound. And there's one more drug that Christie invented, admittedly intended only for benevolent use: Benvo, from Passenger to Frankfurt.

Thank you for another great review. What I like about Jane Marple is that after reading to find out who done it. They are readable over again. The books don't just gather dust on the shelves. Jane Marple is such a busy body, I would hate to live in St Mary Mead. Of all the actors that have played Miss Marple, the Late Joan Hickson has to be the definitive character. In a letter, Agatha Christie explained to a fan that while she was staying with a sister in Cheshire (her elder sister Margaret "Madge" had married Sir James Watt of Abney Hall) they went to a sale at Marple Hall. There Christie bought two Jacobean oak chairs which she still possessed at the time of writing and, wanting a name for her old-maid character in The Thirteen Problems, she thought of Jane Marple (Wikipedia).

Thank you for the review. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who thinks Cristie write a disaster. The more you get into the story the more bizarre it becomes. In the end, the novel has lost touch with reality. If people are not familiar with Agatha Christie don't try to get to know her. "The Seven Dials Mystery". Mister Beebop how about a review of "Cat Among the Pigeons" or "The Clocks"?
