Hi Andrew, the morning was just a joy to photograph. The long lens definitely helped to pick out some of the smaller scenes. It was magical to watch the force, light and apart from the waves. Windy & cold but worth every second. Two great locations, oooh wow… that must have been a very windy day for that to happen to the van. I literally couldn’t choose between the images so put them all in 🤣 Even though they are quite a similar composition, each one has a different feel depending on the light & wave form. Hi Mark… Haha, it was a fantastic morning!! Although I didn’t want to get up when the alarm went off, I’m glad we headed out. Fantastic to watch & a bonus to enjoy some photography at the same time. We’ve been to the same spot numerous times and have only ever seen it like that once before but without the light. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a great opportunity to focus on the smaller details, so pleased you like them. We really need to get back into the habit of chatting a bit to camera whilst we’re out but it’s also nice just to document. We enjoyed taking the Milky Way image, four hours out in the cold but worth every second.
