I think it's important to have a go at all sorts of photography. I'm more seascapes because of where I live but I also love just wandering around with a camera in my hand just documenting my local area in all conditions and times of day and changing seasons.

Great video ladies! It's always tough to go into a landscape that you haven't been in for almost a year...but you did well to come away with some very nice images! I'm not a fan of mushrooms, they give the willies, but those were a couple of really nice shots! Always a bit nerve wracking to go out of your comfort zone but you did great! Really enjoyed seeing some Scottish woodlands! Hope you both are doing well and having a great weekend! Chat soon!

I tried woodland for the heather colour last week, and like you, found it quite difficult to get a decent composition out of the chaos. On the plus side it's a good excuse to go and try again! Enjoy the next 3 weeks, I look forward to my Outer Hebrides updates from you both. Take care.

Great video Adele I have a love hate relationship with woodland photography, it’s hard work but that’s maybe why we love it as it’s very rewarding when we find something that works. Maybe #woodlandwars will be a new thing this Autumn 🤔😂

Another great video. When you are back over Glen Coe way on the B863 on the right hand side of the Loch, about half way up the road is a nice small old forest that is worth visiting. There is a small parking spot opposite, enough for 2 or 3 cars. If you pass the picnic area you have gone too far. 🙂

Woodland photography isn't easy, well, at least not for me. Actually, I find it really hard so I normally look for the smaller details on the ground and around tree trunks. Nicely captured images.
