This is a simple but effective machine tending and automated tapper system. It's made hundreds of thousands of parts over the years. Operators come by every 20-30 minutes to load the infeed, then offload the pallet when full. This is a miserable job for humans that is now improved by automation.

This test is done at 70IPM interpolation, 1/4" endmill, 24,000 RPM, and has a 6.8-second hole to hole speed. Don't buy an Axyz - they're not great routers... Find something with a Fanuc controller. Laguna or CR Onsrud.... This one was terrible.

Have you had any issues with the robot 3 years later?
Just seeing this. Yes,. don't do a UR. They're not meant for year over year production at 18 hours/day.... We went with a CRX. See my more recent video of the upgraded system. We had a handful of odd alarms and joint issues. It also got loose - didn't hold position as tight as it used to. Also, the RobotIQ grippers are not great for long production - we went with Schunk, 'cuz they work.
@@ericwhittaker3570 I hear that, the replacement parts on UR bots aren't cheap either. Fanuc all the way.

How'd you know? What gives that away? I'm no CAM guy, but I'm pretty sure our contractor was using Gibbs. I just learned how to get the part to meet print. ;)

Am I understanding correctly that without those options there is not a way to communicate with the control by ethernet? We have a CRX robot and literally all we need to do is tell the control to close the jaws on the spindle. We can do the rest with the robot. Just seems crazy to do all that work for such a small thing.
This is correct. You have to do all that to communicate.
Separate thing you could do is change the solenoid that control the fixture, to be robot controlled. By that I mean the wiring to the solenoid goes to the DO/DI board on the CRX on the door that swings open. I recently did a project with a CRX/Robodrill and have some experience with controlling fixtures wired directly to the robot. Currently working on 3x EDM/LR Mate 200iD/7L cells where the robot controls the fixture directly.
I am just seeing this comment. Great question. This is ONE way to get this job done. It makes a really nice way to communicate from an Allen Bradley PLC to a Fanuc CNC. From a CRX you could use IO Link, or digital IO wired directly to and from the CNC/Robot. Or you could do some other protocols, but IO Link or Digital IO is the simplest. We've used Digital IO successfully for simple cells, which most Cobot applications would fit into... K.I.S.S. Ethernet IP allows a TON of IO transfer for automatic tool comps, automatic program selection, mill position, robot position, etc... Most applications don't truly need Ethernet IP.

Почему-то не могу сменить бит 0 на 1. Что о блокирует, ключ повернут правильно,смена параметров тоже стоит на цифре 1. Что может ещё блокировать?

Good video. I'm glad I found it. Can you explain why one would do this? Maybe an example or your particular circumstance? I ask because I'm getting my very first VMC and it has a Fanuc 0i-MD controller. I'm trying to learn all I can about the controller before I actually cash out for the machine next week. I'm guessing here but it seems like you are connecting some functionality or action to a button on the controller panel. Is that correct? Thanks!

Also, your control system is neutral to whatever you are running, so whomever built your system your controls up to that system. It isn’t correlated to all of your machines, it was programmed into your machine system
Your “edits” are calling for ‘input/output’ dictated by (y)or (x). Drives are inputs? If I remember and outside sources are outputs(like way lube lines) I’m not familiar enough with code to say what does what on your equipment
