I love mine, I am also an old school runner, thick midsole is not my type. This one fits me perfectly especially the ground feeling when running. I also bought the Hyperion Max 2, and it turns out this is is more like an all rounder shoe than Max 2. The Max 2 doesn't feel good under easy jogging pace.
I love this shoe and I agree with your review; the only thing I disagree with is the "ground feel" comment. I feel like the firmness of the midsole gives some pretty good protection despite the minimalist feel compared to other stacks. I bottom out in the RebelV4 or 1080v13 and even VF3. I run 1/2 mile speed with 1/4 recovery repeats and this shoe digs in every time that half mile starts and my legs turn over well. Tough shoe past 10 miles though.
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody I had a run with half mile reps / quarter mile recovery and my feet were dying from a general slapping on an run that added up to be 8 miles. You bet I was saying to myself "That youtuber was right!"
I love this shoe, fast and light, and the cushion is surprisingly spongy
Yea!! Definitely a good one

Yea, I can see that. But I think for some folks who love all that stack, this ground feel might be a shock to their system
