Totally forgot about this . Never done it but I've found fitness in the last year. I really don't like the gym so this might be the go. Could version 3 be enough or just stick with the og.

P90x was the first workout program I stuck with. It was easy enough to do from home with minimal equipment, and I was too nervous to find a gym. After that, I had a lot more confidence, eventually found a good gym and it's been 15 years of consistent exercise since then. It was hard to do consistently at first, but worth it. I can't imagine how much worse my health would be if I hadn't given this program a try. Literally life changing.

A girlfriend and I did Insanity three to four days a week in my early 30s. I was doing other stuff too - weights and a pre-work bleacher/hill routine. I still do some of the Insanity workout pieces on plyo days, but that handful of years was my athletic peak. I credit the hill sprints, backward/forward uphill/downhill and a stadium bleacher routine with some incredible speed gains, but I believe part of that goes to Insanity because of the consistent stretching within that workout routine. It was my introduction to the different variations of the 'greatest stretch in the world.' That alone was a gamechanger.

I used this program maybe 10 times in the last 15 years, but haven't used them since maybe 2016. Definitely great to see some furry fitness content - was just chatting to some folks on Telegram about this, and I had to go dig out this set of DVDs and my Insanity Max:30 set haha.

Dude!!!! I had the exact same reaction to the Kenpo X! I trained for 10 years in Goju Ryu before I tried P90X, and after watching 7 min of the video I just ejected it and did Kata and drills for 90min instead. You are a legend, and I salute you.

My workout today is still based off of what I learned thru the P90X DVDs. And it benefits me daily! I always thought Bobby looked exactly like Jason Bateman back when I used the DVDs. 😂 I'll still mimic the Chest/Back workout exactly to this day as well.

I remember finding p90x when I was in the Military! Got it at the start of my fitness journey way back than. It actually was pretty legit for a fitness program, and actually contributed to my continued fitness journey to this day still! I actually had that exact cheapo pull-up bar highlighted at the 2:55 min mark LMAO. I never did the yoga disc, nor that Kenpo crap disc either. The "Insanity" programs were Gay as hell, for real. Man what an awesome trip down memory lane!!

P90x should have 4-6 different videos of the same workout, with different people in the background. I did this program and some of tonys talking on the side or extras is predictable, it made it seem like watching a movie over and over again. But anyways it worked, i went from 182 pounds to 123, got into the best shape of my life.

I remember watching an infomercial for this late at night many years ago. And I don’t watch infomercials. It looked good and I bought it and am glad I did. I recommend it. Takes almost all of the thought out of workout planning. Just follow along and stick with it.

This is walk down the memory lane for me. P90X is what started my journey, although at a time it was way too hard. I have no proper space at home to workout anymore, nor do I have weights at home so no more P90X for me, at least for now.

Not gonna lie, I did this program at the age of 19 and it got me into the best shape of my life. Went in at 220 and dropped down to 165 pounds. Program WORKED. I’m currently around 178 pounds and 34. The program gave me a strong base to help with workouts that I still do at the gym.

Tai Bo was still rougher, imo. Both were exceptionally solid for fitness introduction, but even after 10 years of weightlifting, sports, and 5 years in the Army Infantry, my first experience with Tai Bo had old Billy Blanks crushing me into the floor. After 21 years of service and a host of medical issues from combat tours, I now mix DDP Yoga and my normal weightlifting routine. I don't lift as heavy as I used to, once you get into the mid 40s priorities change, but maybe it's time to dust of the p90X and see if it will improve my life again....lol.
