Just an observation, take it or leave it hehe.. specially on incline it’s better to put the truck on neutral an use the emergency brake for a full stop and than engage park that way the weight of the truck is hanging on the breaks and not the transmission. It can save you lots of money in the future.

I want to get a vehicle that will do this. Can’t wait to do some trails like this.

Definitely not illegal, don't know where you got that from, the only places you cannot go are posted usually orange placard. Also if you go more in towards the camping section there are plenty of trails...just be careful cause them water holes over there are roughly 4ft deep, hence the reason we go, good video. Best way to learn is stay in the vehicle and just go for it, that's what makes it adventurous 😎😎😎😎

Switzerland Trail actually was my first Off-Roading trail I ever drove on. It was also the very first Off-Road trail I took my 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon on. I WAAAAAY overthought the trail and had the Jeep in 4-Low for almost the entire trail, lol. Now its one of our regular trails we take for a quick trip, and I almost never take it out of 2 wheel drive. Its probably a good thing you didn't take the Tacoma up Pennsylvania Gulch, which is a trail that branched off of Switzerland Trail, that definitely deserves a "Difficult" rating lol.

If your in the Pine Barrens, you won’t find Bigfoot, but watch out for the Jersey Devil.

Did you show the worst parts, and were there quite a few non high clearance vehicles? It looks like just a dirt road and perfectly fine for wife mini van. I saw one in the video. Mini van is much better for family camping than my little Xterra. Thoughts? I'd hate to pack up and drive the hour and not be able to do the road. Thanks!!

It’s not a trail that’s a dirt road. That’s perfect for Californians and Texans like yourself. Elderly people take their Subarus up there. It is not a trail.

What shocks me about this video is how packed the sand looks!🤣🤦🏽‍♂️ I drive on this beach and have a few shorts and vids on this and it’s always deep, granular, bumpy. I see people get stuck all the time on holiday weekends (probably first timers). Looks like you have wrangler discoverer tires with Kevlar?

I’m watching this video in July and it’s been triple digit heat so I really appreciated the scenery! We had a major snowmaggedon in March of 2023 in our local San Bernardino mountain communities (So Cal).

Its kur-ee beach. You should paddle over to shark tooth island on the river for better finds.
