0:22 - 0:27 man what was going on there 😭
hes clearly demi pansexual
What a SHOCKING period that was for music. No wonder I was listening to thrash & reggae/dub at the time.
15:54 Just like Sandy Shore, speaking of people You don't speak to, You and I need to talk...
15:54 Just as Sandy sure.Speaking of speaker people you don't speak to
Stop confusing Me SteVen, Marry Me & get Me pregnant so I can launder up a Gain of a MORR needed smile for YahushahahahahahaHA
He seems more like a asexual/aromantic guy. Unlike other musicians he is unmarried and even sing songs like "Will never Marry" or "End of The Family Line".
Sure buddy
He is gay, tough..
We need the full thing!!!!
I could listen to him all day
That Ludas song he chosen was absolutely terrible !
interesting
JESUS, why do people care, its about the music, judgmental much, you homophobes??
"Eh mistress do you fancy a shag?"
I always thought prevention was better than The Cure.
A lot of talking for him trying to deny being gay 😂
Homophobe much?
Thats pretty funny hah
The Smiths were garbage compared to The Cure. Morrissey can continue taking the Ls.
I guarunDAMNtee he listens to & loves the Cure…..
Yes or no its not bloody hard
None of your business.
he's bi n had a boyfriend at one point soo technically hes telling the truth
He’s right, the Cure do have trite lyrics. The Smiths are for deeper thinkers. Robert Smith seems like a nicer guy than Morrissey, but enough with the stupid lipstick and hair already. Grow up. The Smiths never had to resort to that nonsense. They just stayed focused on the music. The Cure seemed too preoccupied with trying to act and look cool. Trying too hard to be coy and mysterious. Like I said, just stick to the music and everything else with fall in place. Morrissey is and was light years ahead of The Cure
TRITE!!!😁
Johnny Marr has NEVER been underrated here in England. He has always been considered a bit of a 'Guitar God' in the U.K. Still is. I suspect that Morrisey believes that 90% of The Smiths' success was down to him and he's throwing a bone to Marr here. Only a non musician would call Marr's guitar playing "rudimentary". Morrissey being a passive aggressive bitch here
Nah, I don't like morrisey either, but he always thought the smiths (& himself and johnny) were underrated, not famous enough and never played on the radio. Whether he was right or wrong about it is another story (he was wrong). But he genuinely believed it and 25% of his book is a repetition of that story
The smiths are much better than the cure
Sua opinião, prefiro The Cure mas realmente curto The Smiths !

Fantastic interview! A shame artists of today seem incapable of reaching these standards.
I've always considder him a great lyricist first and to be honest his sexuality has no effect on my life
*Didn't he once say that he was 'Huma-sexual'. It's silliness anyways. He's claimed to be Bisexual in letters, so what is the need to 'pin his sexuality'. Of course, it is the most dominant and leading aspect of a person, but it is completely personal. You'd think we were in some Totalitarian State where it was NECESSITY to reveal your orientation. It's also dumb. It's not a crime anymore, so live and let live. Morrissey also highlights that the journalist was a promoter of understanding for homosexuals, so his thinking he was 'wish fulfilling' his hopes of Morrissey being like him sounds quite very plausible* *PS: Morrissey has been labelled 'miserabilist', so how to combine the mismatch of being miserable and gay ...*
He's a conservative. They don't consider their sexual preferences as their identity or an important part of their personality.
although they're OBSESSED with everyone elses
He is not conservative nor liberal.
@@freya8133 He's completely 'Morrissey-ist'
And in fact, a sexual preference should't be a part of your personality or identity anyway.
@dameuropeanson It is absolutely correct, but the 'politically' motivated will deny that and shout you down. Believe me, it's happened to me
hes not gay. hes super gay
So what if he is.
@@freya8133 i ask the same thing about pride parades. shits mad gay
"I do not like Cquaaar never liked the Quaaar"
i've always seen him as Asexual
I like them both its just the smiths has a lot better albums than the cure and the smiths have andy
when George Michael was 'playing hetero' he is still acting on public like LGBTQ+ friendly person. but Morrissey... I think he never did nothing like that. he was too 'beyond everything' queen. not a such pretty picture.
painting 'a vulgar picture', perhaps ...
🙄
George Michael was a phony.
@@freya8133 😂
Oh brother, if you don't like the Cure, we are not going to get along
He is a hundred trillion percent gay and is ashamed of it. Everything he’s ever done or said makes sense through than lens.
And that is your business because?

14:37 In 1983, You said the (19)90's could be terribly depressing the way we're going NOW. NOW it is 2024. How depressing do you think it is NOW, when I AM without You?
-7:13 ❤If, My 😂GniKerBoker, You had commited 🎉suicide when You were 8😢, which Who would I have been 😮Abel to bug N😅W that I AM 53😊?
Does it matter. In recent years he has said he’s bisexual.
from letters in the early 80s, my friend
He absolutely didn't say that. He said he's humasexual which is a very Morrissey thing, just teasing the media. I'm no t saying he's this or that, but he's never been clear about it.
@israelmolina9361 I know he's said that recently in his very Morrissey-esque fashion (which is rather cool), but, well, I hate to burst your bubble, but in pre-Smiths letters, he really did write about being bisexual. It is odd for him to be so definitive on sexuality, of all things, but unless he was playing 'head games', I really can't see why he'd lie about something so important
@@israelmolina9361 He has said he finds both Men and Women attractive. It’s in his book

*who cares--- music is GREAT!*
does anyone have the original quote they’re talking about?
i knew he always loved them!
Morrissey thinks he’s a musician.
Just goes to remind us all what a bell Morrisey is.
And that's before taking into account the gig he did in Israel.
