I heard Horikoshi wanted to write horror manga for a bit after MHA, so we might see him pass some MHA projects to some of his assistants. But I can imagine him returning to MHA down the line for sure. Like how Kubo or Kishimoto did in their own respective ways Orrrr we might just see Horikoshi pull an Inoue post Slam Dunk or Togashi post YYH and have a new really good series. He also definitely has the skill set to draw a really good monthly seinen manga
The ending was amazing, wym? Nearly brought me & my friends to tears. His friends spent the last 8 years paying billions of dollars to get him to be a hero with them. He wasn’t forgotten or left behind, & he became a teacher in one of the most prestigious schools in the planet, making him more respected than Harvard professors with a tenure.

MAKE a villian series, one that focuses on attempting to bring back the world to an estate where it once was with a deep character anaylsis that makes you believe and see these guys as heroes until plot twist they are villians and they became the heros that shigaraki was statin he needed to be for his kind and they are inspired by stain and spinner book, and they attempt to put a different type of equality, and the heroes are looked as villians or its up to the reader to decide. at least that what I do so that way i innovate a great manga and make something more timeless and create new path for managaka and fans to appreciate ish more.
They could also try the 2004 JL/JLU route or the Teen Titans 04 route where, Class 1 are basically handle threats on a more system level scale e.g. like with the JL dealing with Darkseid or Doomsday -- and I am not saying that should permanently be the gist of it but they COULD twist things up a bit or do something else in parallel to that like how the Teen Titans exist in the same DC universe as the JL and put that new student that Deku as a teacher met have him form a teen titan style group? I'd be fine with that.

Fun fact: mha is the 1st big shonen anime that use seasonal base frame instead of long running with no break like the big 3 and black clover.
