Hey folks, my channel is an adventure channel, where I do a lot of metal detecting, some bottle digging, old abandoned house exploring, hiking and even a little fishing once in awhile. Come along for the adventure and lets see what we can find together.

Some super sweet stuff down by the pool! Awesome quarter and cool ‘39 royal visit token! Surprisingly one I haven’t yet dug along with the Lizzy and KG6 coronations. Must have missed this one as I was driving home after swinging that same spot with you. lol!

I was wondering what that was in the thumbnail. Cool find! Do you find a lot of junk like nails in stuff in between the good finds or do you know what signals to dig?
@StepBackInTime-History it is some kind of floor sander from the 1930s -40s. This was a funny spot, all the signals are fairly deep so the coins actually sound very similar to nails on the equinox. I did dig nails. I find the nails tend to give VDI numbers that are a bit more jumpy than the coins do. If the coins are ringing up around 38 on the VDI, they might jump to 37 or 39, where as the nails if they ring at 38 they might jump down to the low 20s . However sometimes the numbers do jump around but still sound good enough to dig and will still be a nail but you have to try it just in case.
I figured it was from the 30s or 40s. Thanks for the info about metal detecting!
