Well done on all of your findings. Lucky dog. The way I clean my coins in which I know I probably shouldn't but I do is I put them in a let's say "a purple cloth bag that has a gold draw string" and chunk it in the washer with my clothes and then the dryer. They come out beautiful anyways great job. 🤔😂🤣😝😜🤪🤠👍🇺🇲
thanks Shirl, that's okay, we can have a better conversation this way. How is 2025 going so far, we are in a deep freeze here , the ground is frozen solid now. Just hibernating trying to stay warm lol ATB 🙂
Dang, I typed a whole bunch and just wiped it out. LOL! it's -1 for a high here. I feel sorry for the southern states that're getting hit. Fl is getting hit and the gulf as we speak. ATB! ☺
@@ShirlBussman, yeah I saw Florida had some snow happening . Extreme cold warning here tonight. My poor puppy is giving me the let's go for a walk look but it is just to cold. Lol
@@depthspader8820 My son just left to go let his (puppy) out. We're getting snow now getting more tonight. Looks like I will be inside for a few days. Fl really got it, I think it's funny. Stay warm, Brad. 🥶ATB ☺
I was wondering what that was in the thumbnail. Cool find! Do you find a lot of junk like nails in stuff in between the good finds or do you know what signals to dig?
@StepBackInTime-History it is some kind of floor sander from the 1930s -40s. This was a funny spot, all the signals are fairly deep so the coins actually sound very similar to nails on the equinox. I did dig nails. I find the nails tend to give VDI numbers that are a bit more jumpy than the coins do. If the coins are ringing up around 38 on the VDI, they might jump to 37 or 39, where as the nails if they ring at 38 they might jump down to the low 20s . However sometimes the numbers do jump around but still sound good enough to dig and will still be a nail but you have to try it just in case.
excelente , que buenos objetivos cantidad de monedas , felicidades me gusta el contenido de su canal , me gusta la detección metalica , pura vida saludos
I wish you would tell us a little more about the site.....obviously it isn't just out in the middle of the bush in a national park or something. There must have been some kind or residential development or business area or something to have so many coins and things.
hey cityman, thanks for stopping by, the site was an old sports field from the 1930s to 50. . It had a swimming pool, baseball diamond and horseshoe pits. the video before this one had a picture of it as the thumbnail. ATB
@@depthspader8820 Thanks. Sorry I didn't see the previous video... I've never watched any of these kinds of videos....who would have thought it would be so fun watching some guy dig up old stuff! I'll be back. m Thanks
@@thecityman1910 hey thank you, when I started detecting a few years back, I never imagined just how much stuff is hiding in the ground, from coins to jewelry and all the trash, even when I go deep in the woods where you think many people haven't been there are things to find. In this video I am actually in the middle of a city with 7 + million people. This valley use to have lots of activity until Hurricane Hazel came through in the 50s destroying everything and is the reason there are no longer buildings allowed due too being a flood plain.
@@depthspader8820 So cool. I am a city manager oif a small town in TN. One day a man and his wife showed up and asked permission to metal detect the property around City Hall. Of course I said yes. They spent several hours, then to my amazement, they came in an donated everything they found. There was a button from a civil war era uniform and a silver dime and a lot of other less impressive things. Ever since then I've been interested in the hobby. There are a few other sites around town that I wish someone would search because I know they have some interesting history. Anyway, thanks for sharing and communicating. I'll be watching more of your videos.
Happy New Year Brad, do you still have my number? Im back to detecting after 5 years off. 😮 Got a spanking new Xterra Elite and the winter is killing me.😂
