I'm glad you dug it, Dean! I've already (as of about an hour ago) filmed my Jan/Feb covers, and I think people are gonna enjoy 'em. The 22" Swish Knocker was inspired by Chris Whitten, when he toured with Paul McCartney and Dire Straits between '87/'92. I think I'm on my third one by now because I kept breaking them, lol. Hopefully I can get a new one soon.

It's tongue-in-cheek. It's kind of a Canadian sense of humour. I love this country. I even love Ontario and Quebec. I just hate what's been done to it in the last 10 years. The Family Guy clip seemed like a funny way to express my frustration. But I don't think Canadian people suck. I like Americans, and British people too. I just hate our government.

Thanks, Mike! It's an older setup. I changed my kit to accommodate different songs, but I don't do that anymore because it meant that I never relly got comfortable with any one setup. Now I just make everything work for the setup that I have, and that's that.

That show changed my entire perspective on drumming. Chris Vrenna was an immensely talented and imaginative drummer in his day. I will say though, if you haven't checked out the soundboard bootlegs of the tour NIN did with Bowie in 1995, do so. They change up the outro to "Burn" (along with several other songs), and it's pretty cool! @@MykeLewisMusic no I’ve never checked that out. I’ll have to. Best songs on that album from me are burn and reptile. That drummer they had at the time was absolutely amazing.

That was Vrenna. He was like the Neil Peart of the industrial scene. Also, since you mention "Reptile", that's part of the Bowie set, with Bowie joining NIN on vocals during the transition from the NIN set to the Bowie set. There's some pro-shot footage of that portion of the show on youtube. I'd post a link, but youtube keeps deleting them.

@MykeLewisMusic So many good trips in my teens to Floyd. Saw them in 87.

Oh man, that must've been amazing! I was obsessed with Delicate Sound of Thunder back then (both video and audio). I saw them one time only, July 1st, Winnipeg Stadium on the Division Bell Tour. I was fourth row, right in front of the stage-right sound tower. At the end of "One of These Days", the inflatable pig in said tower fell on top of me (and everyone else in that section). It still stands to this day as the best show I have ever been to.

@MykeLewisMusic I wanted to see that tour as well. It's a great story with the pig. I saw them again on the Momentary Lapse tour, but outside in a stadium, we had like 20th row, i thought too close, and it rained, and I couldn't find acid. The show, before in the arena, was easily top 3 shows, even better than when I saw Roger Waters.

Roger Waters's 2011 tour of The Wall is number 2 for me. It was flawless from start to finish.
