They should still at least let us have an extra stratagem to use when the DSS is on a planet. The cooldown on the DSS abilities are already bad as it is and we can’t even do anything else with the DSS other than vote it to a planet to keep it safe. We need more options :(

I can see you did not do your research. Age 7 Super earth citisens join the army, age 16 they get a bayonet rifle as a gift to encourage prolonging their service in military. Age 18 they can apply for helldiver program. The program lasts for 9 months. Id give it a 50-50 chance squad of HD vs. A spartan, just basic gear for all.

90% of the time the spartan would actually die, Orbital laser + orbital railgun + 110 kg rocket pods + quasar cannon First two auto lock with a 60 meter throwing range, the 110 rocket pods also lock though not too accurately. Then the quasar cannon which will hit like a truck, Spartan isnt walking away from that. Most likely its becoming a thing where they just simply end up killing eachother

Autocannon, ems mortar,and the normal mortar as the first 3 stratagems. No 4 either orbital railcannon or the eagle 500kg bomb, even the good old eagle airstrike would make the spartan toast in a 1vs.1.

i feel like the democrasy officer being the highest authorety on a super destroyer is a bit of an open secret. dut i still think its a bit of a shered comand thing its likly that the hell diver dose have some levle of strategic desision making authorety equal to what you see in the game like deciding what planet the super destroyer goes to and what mision to do and were to dropp but this dose not meen your in full controle

on the hd2 wiki the bile titans are classed as a medium type bug (I think heard it from another video haven't checked it my self)

Actually this makes a ton of sense with the Helldiver not being in control, that explains why the woman by the freezer sometimes says "congratulations on finishing your training" sometimes even if im level 50 or so, which must mean that all that the Helldiver remembers last is being frozen after their training. I think ist either that or the freezer also comes with a cloning machine that after cloning the original Helldiver, freezes them and keeps their DNA so that they can makes infinite clones in the Super Destroyer. This ALSO explains why Super Earth seems to value the Super Destroyers are considered alot more valuable than the Helldiver itself as it contains thousands of potential other Helldivers. This would also explain why your Helldiver would have the same armor and voice every life.

Lowkey kinda disagree with the fact that the bugs are specifically modified down to the super specific physical features. Cause if so why not just make them defenseless and squishy in order to make everything easier and so much less dangerous. I think it's more likely they were all infused with a steroid like compound that heavily mutated their dna, and what we see is modified evolution taking its course within the hive. I was watching and it comes up so much that it makes the discussion of the difference between helldivers 1 and 2 bugs knull when everything is just "cus super earth modified it to be exactly that" just gets a lil reduntant

For around 9:26 on that topic, it’s said each helldiver is his or her own person. Got their own families etc. so the helldiver that completes training is given command of the ship however if you die the armor, weapons, the destroyer, everything gets handed down to the next helldiver. So I think you’re partially right. It’s a mix of what you’re saying and what I before mentioned

I have to disagree on the whole UNSC Navy would beat the Helldiver fleet thing, if each player IRL is a cannon Helldiver on a cannon Super Destroyer that means at it's peak of power just the Helldiver fleet and not the SEAF Fleets was around 458,709 ships strong and if we go by some admitedly old halo Lore at the start of the Human Covenant war had under 1000 and by the end of the war had only 20 then the UNSC is outnumbered rather hard and that is before we account for the actual Super Earth navy we know is in game since it's fighting the Automatons to allow the Helldiver Fleet to work in low orbit
