“You need to do BETTER and mind your own business!” - Joey Swoll I love that pfp 😆
hi gpt question, Evade Window works also with SIlkbind skills on Long Sword ? or only with evade ? in moment when u sheet your weapon u can do attack that go thro monster even he is attacking,Evade Window will work for this ? or maybe Offensive Guard ?
@@sorciak it does work with a lot of silk bind skills 😊
Recommends heavy slam on most switch axes to charge sword but avoids hevenward flurry completely... Allllrighty then... Quite the time in the game to recommending maximum might so highly. Definitely not a switch axe skill without Heavensent or strife now.
@@OrAngelicBlitz8633 I've addressed this both in the bio and in my pinned comment. Heavward flurry is good at stacking the sword and that's a mistake by me, however if you mash O and go into heavenward, the animation is very unforgiving for a beginner player, as I have seen with a lot of my friends. Heavy slam is also used once during axe and it helps with power phials which take a long time to charge. Heaven has to hit also, heavy slam doesn't from what I remember, just casting it puts you in the potency state, no? Anyway haven't played in over a year, I might be slightly wrong
You’ve won a subscriber mate, this was a great video, thank you!
Thanks a lot, I appreciate every single feedback from everyone, unfortunately I won't be uploading much in the near future cause I have a lot of life implications. I think I'll make more content when Wilds comes out!
One thing to point out, if you are playing multiplayer, never use the compressed finishing discharge as it will send your teammates flying.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, you're right!
@@CasoresDen Dont ask how I know XD
One combo that I've been having a lot of luck with is X->RT+X->A->RT+X. Or, Overhead Slash into Morph Rising Double Slash into Triple Slash into Morph Double Slash. It lands a lot of hits really fast, and does a great job of keeping the sword gauge high and filling the amp gauge fast as well. It also has the option of including a Heavenword Flurry between the Triple Slash and the Morph Double Slash that can really add in some extra damage and/or amp gauge, or you can add Fade Slash at the end to disengage.
@1:17 I love how you got R3 and L3 correct but r1r2 l1l2 are backwards...
I didn't even notice!! I found this picture online, I didn't map it. You are very observant haha
I had this team earlier that they will ride the other 2 monsters first then attack our target monster. Our hunts were way too fast because of that.
It helps a lot with time and they also drop materials too. I personally love rajang as shown in the video, he deals insane damage
Very detail guide, thanks and greeting from Mexico Homie! 🤙🏾
Thanks buddy, sorry just saw your comment. Better late than ever I guess. Hopefully this helped you a bit with Magna, I really struggled with him on my first run
Aw man great video but why u stop uploading? Waiting for more content here 👍🏼
Hey, thanks a lot for the reply. Since I've started making videos I've had a lot of changes in my life, I've moved to a different country and I'm learning the language, working and trying to get more fit etc. I also do not have my editing computer anymore and I am using a laptop instead. I might make more videos in the future, probably when the new monster hunter games come out. I don't know for certain. Thanks again however and I'm glad you enjoyed my video(s)!
Or, do the overkill route and use both 😂

Love the digimon world music in the background, I was feeling very nostalgic lol
So happy to hear that for real, I love digimon old soundtracks, they are very peaceful, thanks for commenting
Thank you for the quality content ☺️
I STRONGLY disagree with your advice in the Heavenward flurry. Its not too hard to pull off mid fight but it’s best used when the monster is stunned or toppled. It does crazy damage, fills your gauge at a crazy rate, and you can quickly go into the elemental discharge after landing it
I disagree with myself also. Check video description and pinned comment 😊😊. It was after noticing my friend dying a lot by spamming it but I hadn't realized how much it fills the bars!
i just wanna say thanks so much. i used this weapon for a while in iceborne but going into rise I was rusty and pretty frustrated with the meter. i had no idea that the overhead slam in axe mode and the discharge filled the meter. this is going to make playing it so much easier thx man
I am very happy to hear buddy, thanks a lot for your kind comment! I hope you enjoy playing Rise with SA as much as I did!
I know this is going to sound completely backwards, but I always consider Evaded Extender as an "Offensive" skill, even though the word "evade" would imply it's a defense/escape skill. (Which...it technically is....) The sheer fact that, you can cover about twice the distance in the same evade time? (Meaning you're travelling at double speed.) It's basically the game giving you a tool to say "Use this, to dash in, weapon fully drawn. So you can rush down your enemy". Overall, ever since the skill first came into the series, I've ALWAYS thought it's such an A+ skill to have. Both defensively and offensively.
I agree. However I've seen so many gap closing attacks or wirebug skills weapons have that make EE not such a priority. I love one slot of evade extender on all weapons tho, and I had a fun lance/gunlance build with triple EE, for offensive reasons mainly. It's very fun
Thanks for this great guide helped me more then other guides. :)
Thank you for the feedback, glad to have helped 😁
I can resume all this in one simple sentence: L2*TRIANGLE spam, you don't need anything else, no combo, no mastery, no nothing.
Where's the circle bro 😭😭
can you give us best build for HR? i haven't bought sunbreak and just changed to swaxe since LS is too boring for me now
Hey buddy, thanks for commenting. Unfortunately I haven't played Rise in so long and I don't know the best builds at the moment. If you are still on HR just focus on getting an armor that gives you Rapid Morph 3, Attack boost and weakness exploit. Anything else is extra!
This is exactly what I've been looking for, very very VERY useful guide especially when using a knowledge heavy weapon like GS, I have to be familiar of openings.
Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate your comment. Make sure to read the pinned comment and the description for some mistakes in the video. It's also a little outdated so there's probably better builds than what I show at the end 💪🏼
I love Evade Extender with HBG
I don't usually play ranged weapons much but I would probably do the same
10:41 Why was two staged relevant for those combos? You literally didn't use it in those two combos..
Sorry, I must have missed your comment. 2-stage is incredibly good at filling both meters. It reduces a lot your "charging up" downtime and lets you stay at full DPS mode much more often in my experience. If you're amped you should be using morph loops, and if you aren’t then you should be charging amp. I was showing the main combo to easily get your weapon amped and the combo once it is. Happy hunting
@@CasoresDen No worries mate, it would be arrogant to expect every content creator to reply to every comment of mine. Thanks for the answer :D
@@ardynizunia9709 maybe naive since comments are hard to miss but definitely not arrogant. Always comment your thoughts like you're gonna open a conversation. 🫡
My gosh that talisman, count ask for a better god talisman, very straightforward guide nice work.
Thanks, glad I've helped! Yes indeed, this talisman is absolutely ridiculous, can't ask for anything better, if it even exists x)
Evade extender is awesome with Dual blades for me especially for monsters like Magnamalo and Zinogre that loves to run,hop and jump all over the place. I can close the gap really fast and keep up the pressure on them. Also great for getting out the way of monsters that does massive AOE attacks that can one shot you like Teostra.
Yes, this was the same for me. The dual blades can use all the dash distance they can get, it is super fun and you feel like you're in Attack on Titan haha, it's important to have some disengage tools since they got no guards also
Heavenward Flurry increases your amped gauge a lot faster than other sword attacks. Actually useful to use sometimes
That's true. It's one of my mistakes in the video!
The last monster hunywr game I played was mh4u and I fell in love with the insect glaive, now I've matured, swaxe is my favorite. I'm very glad they brought the game to Xbox, thanks for the refresher /tips!
Happy to have helped. Mh4u was an amazing game, I was playing a lot of charge blade and insect glaive too in that one! SwitchAxe is just too fun on sunbreak, hence why I wanted to help people pick it up
World was my first game but I’ve evolved down that same path, Insect glaive will always have a special place in my heart though.
You forgot one thing, his back is breakable as well.
Good addition, thanks!
Tbh I don't know if you showed it or not as I'm half way through the video after a invincible gambit you can follow up with a triangle attack that does another 2 or 3 hits it also helps if you slightly miss the attack
I haven't actually mentioned, I don't think I've tried it either! Thanks for the tip, ill check it out
Couple points I would add: 1. The sword to axe morph slash is an amazing "poke" and positioning move since you can change your direction whilst inside the animation, just remember that you always hit on your right side. 2. Heavenward flurry doesn't do any more damage than other moves, the gimmick is landing a hit with the move charges your amp gauge significantly so it is useful as long as you know when to use it. This combined with soaring wyvern blade and 2 stage morph slash can fill a power phial very quickly. 3. While EBC is a beautiful addition to swaxe, try not to counter attacks that have consecutive hits (valstrax advancing bite, astalos crawling wing slam, etc.) While you get invincibility frames, you are only invincible for the first hit after which you only have super armor and will take damage, even carting on low hp. Only happened to me once but still be careful.
Amazing tips and quite detailed. I don't think everyone knows of this. Thanks for sharing your insight, will help more people get better at the weapon
Very detailed and good Video! keep it up u will grow!
Thanks a lot, glad you liked it!
Why do all these peasants play on play stations and x box’s

I'm happy you found the video useful and are now enjoying this weapon like the rest of us! Thanks for your kind words, they really mean a lot
why elder dragons are not in the list of anti dragon jowel !
Thus far all elders are flying so anti aerial is perfect for them :)
@@CasoresDen but they're still more dragon then any other dragon in the list of dragons. Capcom did this i know 😵
@@MonderMatrix I know I know. Check Kirin! It's a unicorn but technically an elder dragon as well! Games are weird, man
@@CasoresDen elder dragons in capcom are monsters that cannot be put into a category like brute wyverns (tigrex), flying wyverns (rathalps and rathian). That's why kirin is classified as an elder dragon.
im currently watching everything about rise that is available and i wonder how ive not found your videos earlier. Amazing content, thank you for all of that! <3
Thanks a lot for your kind words, they really mean a lot! I don't play a lot of MH lately so my channel feels a little frozen while I'm busy irl. Thanks for the sub also!
that talisman 3Qb 2wex 3slot 2,1slots lol
Yeah it's pretty ridiculous. Sadly I always loved the grinding for stuff like this in Monster Hunter games and even tho I had horrible rolls with base Rise, this thing dropped within the first months of playing Sunbreak. It kind of killed the incentive to grind kind of, still great tho
The only problem i have with noobs. if you monut monster always find and attack other monster, just don't crash into wall. Teammates will follow you don't matter how far other monster are
Some people think that's a waste of time but ideally you want to use monsters to attack each other, yes. And that's true, hunters will follow you anywhere
I went through the reddit post and disagree with how most of the people responded. You did a great job on this video and everything man
I appreciate that you took the time to go through the description and checked the link I provided. Maybe their responses were a little unorthodox but they were right in one thing, I didnt do very good research on the skills. Maximum might in particular might be a playstyle preference but it's not really that good on SA. I don't mind running something like this honestly, but the people form this reddit are doing maths to calculate optimal damage and builds so I get why they're passionately answering even in a "mean" way. It's good to have some responses like this now and then to get a little tougher and also face the reality that your "baby" (my video) could have been better. That's what I got from this interaction, being the positive and striving to improve person that I am. Anyway sorry for the long reply, thanks again for your kind words, they really go a long way
@@CasoresDen Just keep up the videos! Loving all of them
@@Regis178 thanks a lot for your support 😊. I've been busy with work lately (I'm a waiter and November - December are the busiest months) but I will make more videos when new patches come out and stuff. Trying to do quality over quantity
Some gameplay of it in action at the end would've been good.
Noted! Might add more game play in between as well and have all the jewels appear on the screen at the same time instead of one by one
@@CasoresDen Awesome :)
I saw a video of someone who did the math, and chain crit is SSS even before WEX
Thanks for sharing. I mentioned some skills that are not that great and forgot to mention chain crit. I left a pinned comment as well as a link in the description to that. You're right tho
your thumbnail made me laugh XD
Happy to hear!!! I try to be creative with them haha
Which phial would you recommend?
Elemental phials are the best with monsters that have weakzones of 20-25<, exhaust is for fun and comfort but I think a very well made poison build is stronger than most and the most versatile. It's still up to your preference. Elemental builds take a lot of time, u need to build one for every element but status ones are simpler
@@CasoresDen thank you for the quick response. And the advice. Before I even saw this I felt exhaust and poison were working the best for me. Again thank you
@@Sodamachine62 no problem! Thanks for your kind words
For me the switch axe was actually the easiest to pick up
That would be longsword for me. It felt like I knew the weapon the moment I started playing it
@@CasoresDen that's awesome. I actually started with the longsword and really liked it but once I tried switch axe I fell in love
@@Sodamachine62 In base Rise, all weapons were so underwhelming compared to the longsword that it killed any incentive to play them alltogether. Sunbreak changed that however. I love SA so much since the update. I'd say I like SA and GL over anything right now haha
I’m willing to bet my life you edited the charm in. Which isn’t a problem, the problem is if you say you rolled it. I rolled an Ab3, 3-1-1, but the chances of rolling what you have I’m pretty sure is wayyyy less of a chance then winning the lottery. Not to mention that’s what all the god charm pc bros mod in. Lol
I don't mind legal charm editings but I just don't do it because talisman grinding is something I love to spend my time on. I had zero talismans with WEX on base Rise and I rolled this within a month of sunbreak. It's impossible to prove that I rolled it since I don't have a screenshot (although these can easily be modified too). As for what people use when it comes to mods, I've seen stuff like CB WEX 2-2 but I don't know if it's legal. I wish I had won the lottery instead, cause having such a perfect talisman made me play the game less and less honestly. I have no reason to lie to you but you have no reason to beleive me either 😐
@@CasoresDen well you replied and and gave your input so hey.. it casts doubt that you may have edited in. Big props on a roll like that, man.. I’ve been praying for one lol
@@CasoresDen sorry for coming off the way I did. It’s really just envy, I’ve wanted to play PC so I can experiment with some of the mods. Lol
@@ButtaJr96 Absolutely no problem man! And honestly, caring about legal mods in a game like this where there's no ranking system or whatnot is quite unnecessary. The only hard-core mod I used is when I bought MHR for my PC. I didn't wanna spend 400 hours again (I work and don't have the time), so I did an instakill mod + max base rise materials mod. So I have all low and high rank materials 999. Of course when Sunbreak came out I deleted all the mods to carry from where I left off 😅
Lovely video with nice and easy explanation! but my man, you gotta lend me your talisman luck, thats the nastiest one ive seen yet O_O
The talisman roll is insane indeed! I got super super lucky with that one, helped me maximize my sets for all weapons basically 😁💰
I love Evade Extender, especially with the buff it got in Rise. It's amazing on my two main weapons, Gunlance and SA. That being said, it's interesting that Sunbreak has added skills like Status Trigger that interact directly with Iframes. My guess is that Evade Extender and evading out of attacks is fundamentally more accessible, so they wanted to increase the potential reward of the high skill ceiling Evade window styles. This is especially likely since Rise's weapons having counters would have all but eliminated the need for Evade window without the corresponding new skills that directly use it. I'm very satisfied with this type of design as it gives the player a choice of interesting and equally effective styles with different pros and cons. Many Monster Hunter skills do a great job at this, which is something that many games lack. Too many games have upgrade trees that just add straight numbers.
To be fair I'm happy myself. I love counters but I wanted to have the option to build different things too and the new abuse skills are perfect. Anybody can play anything at the moment and it would make sense. Game is less and less boring 😁
@@CasoresDen Yeah, I'm really happy that Rise is rising the bar with all sorts of skills with interesting skills with unique triggers. For example the Bladescale Hone skill single-handedly makes Izuchi Weapons viable. Then there's things like Build Up Boost which can make Poison competitive. It also interacts with the SA Exhuast Phial to revive Exhuast SA after it was made obsolete by EDCounter etc. Don't get me started on Hellfire and Coaleseance, or Derelction builds etc etc.
@@Kryto_Gaming absolutely. I love status weapons and after seeing foray I started getting hyped up. Buildup boost just added up to that hype. Wonderful stuff. I figured exhaust phials would be viable after I saw that skill and made a guide about it. There's endless possibilities!
What music do you use? I love the music
All of the music you here is from Monster Hunter games! Mainly the village themes ☺️. I will make sure to enter their names in the description when I got the time!

What hammer move does that fast of damage at 2:41?
Hi, this is your first switch skill with the hammer. It's called water strike. It replaces that awkward side hit on your A (circle) button combo. Time it correctly and you you will become completely invulnerable. After you successfully do that, you can press X (Triangle) to do a home run, which is the third hit of your regular X (Triangle) combo, or simply press ZR (R2) to charge your hammer to lv2 (uppercut). Must have skill in both scrolls and if you master it you will be a very good hammer player. Hope that covers it

Keep it up bro! You'll go big. I wish for it :)
