Can you use g3 mags on the rxm ?

Great video man. One question I’m getting, is your ejection pin supposed to be bent like that? I just picked up my rxm and right away I noticed my ejector pin is bent to the right like yours. . . Every pistol I have they’re straight. . . Is this a normal thing with rxm/glock

Does anyone know if you can swap out the ejector for a Glock 23 ejector? The reason I ask is because of the modular aspect of the fire control group.

I installed a OEM Glock slide stop and spring and still don’t get the same sorta snap you are getting. I did notice that the spring doesn’t really have anything to sit against on the bottom so it kinda sticks down. IIRC on a stock glock the initial curve of the spring sits against the frame so it probably has more tension.

No other UA-camr has gone so deep in this FCG. Awesome. Do you know if the NY-1 trigger part is compatible with RXM's receiver?

Was there no way they could have made the FCI narrower?

Are you planning to add an optic and if you do which one will be your option?

So does replacing the slide release with a OEM Glock gen 3 one fix any issues?

Seems to me that a narrower slide catch (the portion that actually interfaces with the magazine follower) would solve the issue. How large is the stock RXM one compared to an oem Glock?

Maybe the Magpul mags will get better because of the RXM. I have a few of them but use them just in training.

Nice video, you really put a lot of thought into this. I curious about your rear sight. At the 23 minute mark you show the rear of the gun and there is a strip on the rear sight. Is that paint or did you change out the sights. I've always liked the Von Stavenhagen or bar/dot sights.

I swapped out mine for a gen 4 extended slide release I had from years ago and swapped out the safety plunger and put a overwatch precision trigger from my gen 4 glocks I had laying around

I believe this design is the beginning of Ruger competing against companies like Shadow Systems and Zev. I can see them working with Magpul and their custom shop on making their own line of Gucci Glocks.

Can't find just the spring by itself anywhere but I can get a extended release off fleabay for dirt cheap. Just bend it some to follow the piece? Or do you think Ruger might put out a fix?

Use the slide to pry up the rails. Super easy and you won’t damage anything. Hard to beat OEM Glock parts but 1200+ rounds through mine with zero failures of any kind. 5 different brands of mags, 3 different ammo weights and six different brands. RXM functions flawlessly.

Great video, I've been using Gen 5 g19 mags , so far been working well. I've used a lot of different mags and only had one issue with a Cheapo $7, 32 rd ETS. FYI, I've used Pmag 15 & 17s , Oem Gen 5 19s, ets 32rd , utg 32rd , annd an extar ep9 18rd mag All good except the ETS which I have 2 one was fine , other felt a bit loose, rattled more. For $7, I can't complain. lol they run good in Extar !!

You don't have the pull the trigger to take off the slide, i heard you click and remove slide like the OG glock, however it's not necessary, go try it lol

So all you did was replace the spring from a glock oe part?

In time with wear do you think the spring will rub the shoe?

I hope you have emailed this video suggestion to Ruger Support to be sure they get the message. They are not psychic! I suspect Ruger is more open to customer feedback than Glock.

Interesting video, but lighting with a tactical light is not good for detail. You need a soft box type light to give an even light. A cheap and easy trick is to use one or two large chinese paper lanterns on normal daylight balanced light bulbs. Hang them either side of your overhead camera and you’ll eliminate most shadows. The tactical light has a focused beam that creates a hot spot and it throughs the white balance off on your camera. Also, the color temperature is way too cold to look good on camera.

I have not had any issues with mine and just to see if i would keep it or get rid of it, I burned through 600 rounds using 19x mags, gen 5 mags, ets mags, and the mags it came with in the first two days I had it with no issues. I mean it is a Glock after all basically. My only issue is because of the trigger undercut; for the first time ever a "glock" is giving me "glock knuckle." I might have to get the g45 length grip when it comes out and then round the edges of the trigger guard or something. I also wish the thumb rest on the left side or "gas pedal" area was longer as in extended a little more forward. Other than that wish they had released the g45 size grip at the same time.

I love your in depth. Thank you. I have a couple of dogs in the fight here. Several Glocks and last week my dealer here got two of these in so I took them both. The only hassle I have run into so far is trying to adapt the Holosun HS 407 K to the slide. I even bought the “Standard Glock MOS plate” but it is simply too long to fit the slide although it fits the optic just fine. If you know, I would love to know the exact call out for the threaded slide holes for the RXM because the two that came with the 407 don’t fit and even if they did - they are too long and will bite into the ejector plunger rod. Listen, keep the research going on this great for the price gun. I love mine. //ji

I'm planning to buy this chassis, the ZRO Delta and the Live free Armory AMP's for investigation and subsequent shooting pleasureful enjoyment. They are quite possibly pretty similar.
