You can call your local ford dealer give them the pn and they can check for you. I'm sure you can tap the towers so you can insert the bolts. @@acebermz5881 thanks for watching! No difference. At least I haven't noticed any decline anyways. 1.5 inch is minimal so, everything pretty much is the same. You do notice the height a bit when you get in the car though. I love it so far for sure!

@ecobooster8298 just realized my 2021 Ford Explorer does not have the threaded holes. Do you have a solution?

@@xraydesigns3880 you mean to install the cross bar? Get the bar then place it on the two shock housings and mark the holes to drill. Tap the holes. Remember when tapping, always drill rhe holes small so the tap can create the threads. Or, if the intent is to mount the hood struts, I do believe there are other type with different mounting style. If I find the videos I'll shoot them out to you!

Yes, I too have a power pack. I used the cable when using Maps from my phone. Now I use the android auto apple carplay device. It has maps, UA-cam, Netflix, etc. Pretty cool 😎 👍

@@ecobooster8298 I've been trying to access TV shows and music that I have on my phone but it doesn't show the files through android auto. Sometimes my usb quits and takes me back to radio, I think I need to have it replaced.

@@saved8071 Are you using a android,/apple dongle? Some will allow to "mirror" your phone through the app. I haven't tried it since we pretty much just use UA-cam, Netflix or Hulu. I don't think it's your car's usb.. it could be the usb connector on the cable may be loosened.. that causes to disconnect when going over big bumps on the road. It happened in my wife's mustang. Got her a new cable and it stopped disconnecting.

And make sure they are specifically for your year/make/model. I gave my Fusion to my daughter. She absolutely loves it. I also put the LED underglow lights on it. Looks awesome 👌. You can see how I did the lights on my Mustang and Explorer. Same process pretty much.

@@ecobooster8298 I noticed you used clear coat first after the primer. I thought the paint coat comes before the clear coat. Can you explain why you chose that order of applying clear coat after primer and not paint coat after primer?

@@SdotDubya I definitely painted after primer. Yes, first sand down, clean and dry, primer, paint, and lastly clear coat. Maybe the way I edited the video? But I think it shows all in that order I mentioned. 🤔
