The year that tested me, isolated my mind from my body and that had me discover myself all over again. I find it necessary to share videos such as these because for me, it is these honest conversations that make others feel seen. I started working with candle magic this year and would looove to learn more from you! The ballet was so pretty, my husband took me to a Dracula ballet one year and it was amazing. The Frankenstein and Frida Kahlo ones sound so good too!!

The San Francisco ballet is well known as a top ballet company, so you got to watch some incredible, beautiful dancers. I grew up doing ballet and used to go watch ballet performances all the time.

Hello dear friends! Welcome or welcome back to another video. This video is a silent vlog where I take you along on a winter celebration! The Winter Solstice arrived and wanted to do something special to welcome its arrival. In this vlog I take you along on a nature walk as I give my gratitude to the season for its new arrival. I then do some cozy spells during this Winter Solstice and finish my day by going to The Nutcracker ballet for the first time! This is a silent vlog, there is no talking. Hi Kim, where you at Christmas in the Park in San Jose? My daughter has been wanting to go out there but there has been no time and energy for either of us. Last weekend we were in SF and got to see the Nutcracker ballet which was on my bucket list and that was beautiful, I highly recommend it. It's nice that you were able to get out during the full moon, how beautiful was that cold moon?! Sometimes it's so hard to go out but then it ends up being a lovely time, your husband is so sweet for taking you out on a festive evening. I really enjoy your vlog and look forward to the next one. Hello friends! Welcome to a very exciting video titled "Lets Spend a Cozy Weekend Together." I just got back from an out of the country trip and I have been having a hard time adjusting back to the rhythms of life. Usually what helps is a nice cleaning of my space and some fresh air. Even though I wasnt super in the mood for it, my kind husband took me out last weekend to dinner and to see some Christmas events that were happening locally. I am happy that he did as it truly helped to help me feel more like myself and motivated this holiday season. This is a silent video with cozy relaxing background music. I read The Only Good Indians at the beginning of this year and I also cant stop thinking about it, it was so good! And I loved The Deep, Rivers Solomon became one of my new favorite authors this year, I devoured all their books in 2024 😍

I read A Dowry of Blood and also really liked it!! On of my top books of this year was Babel by R. F. Kuang 🖤

I read An Education in Malice by S. T. Gibson this year and loved it -the lush atmospheric romantic writing style. Now I’m really intrigued be A Dowry of Blood.

I’m looking forward to the second book of What the River Knows! A Dowry of Blood sounds GOOD😍I read An Education in Malice (same author?) and liked it.

I bought Alebrijes at the Tucson Book Festival. I still need to read it, but I bought it because you spoke so highly of it. You're making me want to pick it up soon, maybe in January. I also really loved A Study in Drowning and keep thinking about it. I'm looking forward to the sequel. I've only heard good things about Lightfall. I am slowly collecting some graphic novels. So far I have bought the Garlic books. I also want to buy the Tea Dragon books because I love them. I have What the River Knows and the sequel but still haven't read them. I'm a huge mood reader, so I do work my way through the books I own, but it sometimes takes a while. 😂 I am a history lover, but I sometimes forget how much I love historic fiction and historic fantasy books, until I read one. I really enjoyed Ravenfall too and want to continue the series. T Kingfisher has become one of my favorite authors. You can't go wrong with any of their books. I'm a wuss when it comes to horror, but I did read The Only Good Indians a couple of years ago and I still think about it. I can't really say I "enjoyed" it per se, but it was a well written book.
