2015-2020 Yukon Sun Visor Replacement
I had to replace my sun visor and figured I might as well make a quick video about it. Pretty straight forward but always good to see someone who already had to do it.

Can you put a ROKU in a GMC Yukon?

You sure can and it works amazingly well!!! As long as you have internet via vehicle or phone hotspot you can make this work. I originally tried an AppleTV but some finicky power issues led me to using the ROKU instead.
Can you put an Apple TV in a GMC Yukon?
Переглядів 1,8 тис.2 роки тому
The quick answer is yes...BUT. As long as you have internet via vehicle or phone hotspot you can make this work. One issue is the factory 120V plug uses a modified sine wave inverter which the Apple TV doesn't like. You'll need a pure sine wave inverter. The biggest issue is when the car is turned off it cuts power to the power outlets. After that the Apple TV needs to be unplugged for 30 secon...

    Per code you need a form of disconnect for your electrical at the water heater. Can’t go just straight in with conduit, you should have a fused disconnect on each circuit.

    Luckily I found your video because my self propel feature stopped working all of a sudden after one season of mowing. Take it apart and both the molded plastic L shaped piece and the dowel sheared off at the base. Basically the same problem you illustrate. What a piss poor design Ryobi for a $400 mower! I'm going to try and tack it back in place with super glue so both pieces stay in place while I then reinforce the base of both pieces with epoxy. Should be fun. I think if I buy the new part it will only wind up breaking again due to the poor design of the molded part. They should have molded in a tapered feature or thickened the base wall at the bottom to eliminate the stress riser there. Thanks a bunch for posting this, very helpful!

    • @johnshield7157
      @johnshield7157 3 місяці тому

      I too am not an electrician, but I would be concerned using 2 x 80 amp breakers, the load for each heating element is structured to shut down if it goes over 40 amps, if you put in 80 amp breakers there will be no fault on any single element till 80 amps is obtained….i would be skeptical…just my opinion.

    Great Repair ! Gotta say though, I hope that mower wasn't expensive, because the gauge and strength of all those plastic parts is really cheesy and cheap. I mean, there are kids toys with stronger plastic parts than that thing.... Good luck with it, I have the Ryobi 40v weedwacker and so far it's still working, but the battery didn't last very long...
