Aria "Vo disperato" from Hasse's La Clemenza di Tito. Sorry for small abruptions at the very beginning and ending! I still think this piece is worth posting. Those who notice a slight lack of coordination between the singer and ensemble, have to remember that conductor Emmanuel Haim was absent from the concert. She was giving a birth to her daughter Luise:))

This megahit is the Christmas present to all the fans in the "Jaroussky community". This encore of the Sisteron 2005 concert is aria Nel Profondo from Orlando Furioso modified as a duo of two rival singers. After having heard this masterpiece, the regular version of this aria feels like missing something.

This is by far the most beautiful version of the aria from opera Il Giustino I have heard until now. On other performances, even in Vivaldi CD recording, they (Spinosi Jaroussky) have never reached such a sublime tension.

I did not know male mezzo's passed on B and C. I am a female mezzo, and I pass on E and F. And he has a slighty higher topnote than me. Strange....
So lovely! Finally we can watch Jaorussky's Sesto in his rendition in Salzburg 2012!! I hope there is going to be a dvd soon, even if I prefer Lemieux as his partner than von Otter.

quanto a un cuor riesca amara la constanza nell`amar.
sono d'accordo con franztener, un esempio di come ridicolizzare la musica classica, come sscempiare grandi artisti, facendo pseudo cabaret...non si capisce il fine di queste esibizioni. Assurdo poi il paragone tra i due artisti, lui una voce schiacciata e noiosa, lei sembra una stufa. O si fa cabaret o si fa il cantante qu non si capisce! che schifo....
