Installed a bigger fmic from Holley performance to combat my previous heat soak. with the colder air I was able to lean the tune out and let the na/t legacy eat at 18psi on the vf39. this is a gentle launch with flat foot shift through the gears. virtual dynojet graph puts the car at a whopping 295whp/358lbft.

You don't need a cat to pass emissions, all you need is a spacer. But there's absolutely no good reason to delete the EGR valve, and it will throw a code.
god i wish i never sold my speed6, just such a cool car. and just nice to drive, very stable at speed.

@@OTBspeed6 already have ms6 trans and transfer case. Getting ready to bust them apart and do a rebuild with bearing caps, brass pads, and LSD .

hey! i know its an very old video... but... worth a shot! very nice build! i already watch the other videos on your channel! im currently tunning my na/t with a stand-alone ecu and i was wondering if you can share some details of your tune especially the timing table... my setup is: Ej204 2.0 16v DOHC with AVCS (10:1cr) TD04L (running 0,7bar peak and dropping to 0,5 to redline, i limited my rpms to 6500, stock was 6900) StandAlone ecu (its a national brand called octtane, very famous down here, its the "Octtane t2s g2" model) running full sequential Mac 3 boost solenoid 565cc dark blue denso injectors 1:1 afpr Aem 340LPH fuel pump FMIC - 2,5'' 2,5'' piping 1 degree colder spark plugs (7) wrx/fxt radiator & fans Uel and up-pipe custom fab with no restrictions (catless) 3" Donwpipe with no restrictions 2,5'' straight exhaust no restrictions 100% ethanol, iam brazilian and here we have 110 octtane ethanol in every gas station...

I have the bnr S1 in my speed6 with 21psi peak boost reliably. Is it possible to get more out of it with the S3? Ps. Also got the tune from will at PD!
Will tuned mine, 24-26psi on a corksport CST4 turbo, i built a forged block for her. limited on fuel, spraying meth but not tuned. power is okay wish i could get more.

I’m barely looking in to it. I always liked the tsx look alot but this has that similar vibe. Did spd 6 offer and awd and fwd options? Because it seems all im finding online is fwd’s. And i do prefer the awd

Maintenance. Plugs, coils, VVT repair, oil changes every 3k miles with synthetic. Change transmission oil, diff oil and transfer case oil. Then Cobb AP, high power fuel pump (hpfp) internals.

I'm probably sitting around 310-330whp and 340 torque. It'll make a little less than a ms3 due to tbe awd system. But im maxed out on 92 Oct. Could push more with this turbo if I went ethanol or further
I just bought a speed6.. and I think one of the previous owner removed the obd2 plug…does the plug come from the ecu under the drivers dash?? I’m trying to find out where it comes from so I can see if there are any wires that have been cut
it should be above your inner most pedal, stick your head in and have a look.

@@OTBspeed6 ya I found it finally…it was stuffed in by my shifter column kinda behind my stereo…it had a adapter for some sort of tuner but never put back..previous owner couldn’t find it entire time he owned the vehicle…thnx 4 trynna help tho

On bnrs website it says they won’t work with divorced Downpipe. Has that changed?
That's the older bnr versions. According to corksport and bnr it should be resolved. In my case tbe bnrs3 I have had no issues with boost spike and hit 21psi

Ive been considering one of these for awhile now. As far as practicality goes, im really interested in real world mpg and road trip/highway mpg. Keep the videos coming!
You won't regret it. Coming from the turbo subaru world I enjoy this car much more than a wrx or legacy. Biggest draw is the fact the block handles more power on stock or moderate builds and the trans is almost as good as a sti 6spd. As for mpg I'm getting around 24mpg highway and 19 or 20 city

Just had the boost turned up another 3psi. Gonna be another week or so of tuning but March the drag strip opens back up!
What happened to the Subaru
It unfortunately got smashed by a chunk of a tree during a storm :/. Ended up selling the build to another legacy guy and he's gonna swap it all!

Nah, more comparable to the blousch dom 1.5 just slightly smaller. It's a 46lb/m rating
On the bnr website I believe they say their turbos don't work well with divorced downpipe and could cause over boosting
Those were their older versions, they updated them awhile back and most all on market should be good to go. Can say no issues so far wastegate is 16lbs and it doesn't overboost checked for clearance and all is good!

@@OTBspeed6I got a new engine with the stock internals so just planning on going about the same as you ultimate goal is around 380 maybe 400 with stock internals i been told by people that it can go to that potential if built correctly and always keeping an eye on it. But eventually planning on going with Manley pistons and rods for internals. Mods I currently have on it CST4 CS Exhaust BSD EGR delete PCV delete Damond Oil catch can CS FMIC 3.5 intake with upgrade map sensor CS throttle body I don't have much yet but I'm working on it lol

how did u wire injecters and coils the coils in parallel and are injecters in batch fire trying to build a harness from scratch but having hard time finding how to set up the ej255 motor i got from 04 forester xt trying to make it olug in play to stock engine harness

hey man how hard was it to do your intercooler piping? looked around your channel and found nothing. im going fmic on my 2003 legacy and I'am having a hard time figuring out where the pipes should go through; have you done any cutting on the sides near the radiador/battery?

Which clutch switch did you use for the launch control because Mine doesn’t activate until the clutch is fully depressed which causing a spike in rpm’s which defeats the purpose of flat shift and my cruise control clutch switch seem to cause launch to just stay on all the time

Nope, mustang dyno 300 is a healthy daily. We had to stop at 18lbs since my stock coils weren't able to keep up above that. Going to switch to k series coils soon and aim for 350+
