Recently picked up the LCR in .357. Was going to change out the factory Tamer Hogue grip as I was thinking I wanted a full purchase. Much to my surprise the Tamer fits fine and I know it's better for pocket carry. Glad I waited. Good review.
I've tried all those grips on my LCR and they wear a hole in my pocket over time so I switched to the pachmayr guardian grip and it doesn't seem to wear out my pockets.
The G10 grip looks absolutely great - but I can easily imagine how it feels with even regular .38 Special, not to mention, +P (or .357 !). Each one is a compromise of one good feature for one bad, for either appearance, accuracy, concealment, or comfort. The Pachmayr Diamond Pro might be a good overall compromise.
Calibers with less recoil than .38 (and +p and .357mag), such as the .32 H&R mag, .32 S&W Long, or the .22wmr, .22LR are going to recoil enough less that some G10 or non-tamer padded option would be tolerable, I think.
Hey there! so, I got the same build with the Bantam boot tamer grips with the trijicon sights, I had a gun store worker put the bantam grips on for me, but he took out one of the blue cushions inside the grip, when I told him I wanted the blue cushion inside we couldn't take the bantam grip off the revolver, any suggestions?

The G10 Grips great. I have an LCRX in 22WMR. Would like to try that grip on it.
Good video. Thanks for the comparison.

Great overview
I like my Pachmayr Diamond Pro Series revolver grips on my LCR in case people are looking for something else.
Have you tried the Ergo Delta grip? It's not Houge, but I like it. It gives a 3 finger grip and is still small enough for pocket carry.
No I have not. Might try them in the future.
Less felt recoil with that, your opinion?
@@michaelkulman7095 Definitely. It allows a 3 finger grip with not much additional length.
Mind you, it looks goofy.
@@firstcynic92 That it looks "goofy" is putting it mildly.

Quick question for you. It appears as though you have the cyclinder set up for moon clips. Did that come stock or did you have that done somewhere?

Are the grips for 357/38 the same for 327
Good Video
Wondering if you can use that blue insert in your Hogue, G10 grey grip. Have you tried?
Will these work on the .22 model?
Yes sir they will.
Yes they will. All LCRs share a grip frame.
Hogue EXTREME SERIES GRIP !
Is The Ergo Grip For The LCR Any Good??
Looks funny but works great
I'm having a hard time finding an outside the waist kydex for my lcrx 9mm. please let me know if you do...
Legacy Firearms makes one, the Griffin I think…pricey but if you can’t find one. They make some really nice IWB holsters for the LCR.
@@scotteger6271 thanks!
LCR 22 was the worst firearm purchase I ever made. All the grips for it are way huge for it.
I have the 38 special, but damn is it ugly compared to a S&W
What! No scope or bayonet!
You have girl hands!
Just leave it the way it was… you ocd gun guys that buy a gun and then change it are stupid.
Have to agree with not wanting your pinky dangling. Matter of preference on that.
