Awesome! Congrats on retirement!
Your video is so interesting, especially the part about automation tools in cattle care from 10:37. It’s truly an excellent initiative!
Congratulations on your retirement, job well done Sir! 🇺🇸
the end damn near brought a tear to my eye and i dont even know you. Ive never worn those boots! Thank you sir
From former WV Air National Guard member, I want to thank you for all your years of service and dedication to our nation and to flight safety. I drive a tractor trailer for Walmart now in your area and love KLCK and that area. Congratulations on your retirement.
Beautiful "Fini" flight sir, welcome to the club of us retired tanker toads.
Congratulations!!!! Enjoy your retirement from the Airforce. Now get back to work on the farm!
I'm a former looking glass crew chief, and R model chief Congratulations, all you need now is a j3 cub and strip mowed .
Congratulations on retirement sir. Semper Fi
Love these videos.
One great pilot. Salute.
Is this the Ohio air national guard based out of Columbus rickenbacher international jw we were just there a month or 2 ago working in the taxiways
Got some awesome shots of yall taking off and landing
Last landing was butter
Had to make my last one a good one!
Why did the USAF retire the KC 10s but keep the much older 135s?
There are many reasons, but I think the main reasons were price of parts and maintenance.
@@ohioflyingfarmer7050 thanks
@@ohioflyingfarmer7050 I flew on a KC10, one time going home on emergency leave, but never on a 135...
Great video love the montage at the end. Thank you for your service Sir🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Brian!
AF 67/71 Good luck on your retirement.
Thanks for your service!
Great video. Hope you hired your boom.
Thanks! Yes, we did hire her!
First time viewer. Growing up as a Nebraska farm girl with an uncle who became a pilot and an aeronautical engineer for NASA at Ames in San Jose which turned me into a lifelong av geek, the video pushed a lot of good buttons for me. The farming clips show how technical it has become and that it takes a very smart, detail oriented person with mechanical aptitude to be successful at it, similar to being a pilot! A couple less zeros for the price of equipment though. I wish the general public had more appreciation for what all goes into farming. Your well produced videos could make a difference in that regard. Happy "retirement" and thank you for your service!
Thank you for your comment! Yes, both farming and aviation have come a long ways in the last 100 years!
Wow, #2 engine on the 17 really flexing!
Yeah, they tend to dance around quite a bit!
I remember when that flightline had A-7s back in the day with the TopHatters! Well done Sir! Congratulations and GO BUCKS!
There is still a static display of an A-7 near the entrance to the base.
@ brings back memories. I will hopefully be back to visit my old childhood stomping grounds.
I was at Wright-Patterson in August and thought of you. Bittersweet watching your last sortie in the 135. All the best for your future.
Thank you Sir!
Congratulations from a Retired Ammo Troop!
Thanks for your service!
The wheelchair is something we definitely need at the unit! Congrats to many years of flying and continued luck with the farm!
Yeah, I think that one is actually an A-7 ejection seat on wheels!
T.Y.V.M. Colonel for your service and taking us along on an outstanding final flight sir! Godspeed ! 🇺🇸💪🏼✈
I appreciate it Adam! Thanks for watching!
My Son is a brand new LT Blackhawk Pilot today, 11/18/2024. We head down to Ft. Rucker on 12/20 to move him home. He will be flying out of Whitman AFB for the MO National Guard. Your 22 years went by in a flash. Thank you for your service. Enjoy the family & the joy of farming/ranching.
How exciting! He will LOVE it!
Thanks Rod for your service, and for keeping the farmer life alive! Both, true heros! Retired after 21 Active USAF COMM myself.
Thanks for your service Tom!
Congrats on your bittersweet Fini-flight. Nice to see you highlight what was once the Premier C-17 Wing. Flying across the farm was cool. If you never grow up you don’t have to adult.
I'm still trying to figure out what i want to do when i grow up. I think I almost have it figured out.
Thank you for your service sir. Congratulations on your retirement from Texas.
I'm a big fan of Texas! I was stationed in San Antonio and Del Rio for a few years.

Great Video Cap. ( sorry couldn't see the rank). Left my crew (best crew ever) a year and a half ago and glad they call me with news and follow ups on whats going on so I hope your crew does the same. You never know how much a crew means to us until you throw that notice ( Not Notam's) in to retire. Funny my wife will never understand how much Crews mean to her private job but the (crew) are me and hopefully I am "the CREW to them, we lived, learned, had great times, bad times, cried/hug for sad moments and happy moments ETC
Exactly! There are a few things i won't miss from the military, but I will miss the people!
Congratulations sir. On successful career and on finally being able to follow your passion. Former Ohioan born in Dayton and lived for many years across the street from the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Love aircraft and flying and never cease to be amazed at the longevity of the KC-135 or the B-52 for that matter. Vietnam era Navy veteran and retired from a 35 year career as a long haul truck driver. With a wave of the hand from Gulf Coast Florida I wish you “Blue skies and tailwinds.” 🫡🇺🇸⚓️
Thanks for your service! The museum is a special place. I was there about a year ago, but not had three hours and that wasn't near enough time to see everything. I hope to take my son there soon!
Congratulations on your retirement. Great video, also thank you for your service so me and family can live in this great country. May God bless you and your family.
Thanks for the comment Sean!
Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your service
Thanks for watching William!
Thank you for your service!! Wishing you all the best for the next chapter.
Thank you!
Great video to watch. Thank you for your service.
Thanks for watching!
Nicely Done ! I used to be stationed at langley and flew with 6ACCS on the EC 135. Loved that platform.
Thanks for your service!
Thanks for your service from Iowa! Not too far from the 185th Air refueling wing in Sioux City.
Thanks for watching!
@@ohioflyingfarmer7050 No problem😁
Thank You for your Service Sir….🇺🇸
👊🏼'MERICA!
I’m a Missouri farmer that lives near Whiteman AFB and look on with great pride and admiration when I see/hear the sound of jet powered freedom overhead. A10,B2,T38,C130 most commonly. I teared up when worn these boots played. I have greatly enjoyed all your videos and will continue to watch. Thank you for your service.
Thanks Matt! I'm a pretty big fan of that song!
This video caused me to reflect, my father was a career AF pilot last aircraft he commanded was KC-135A, it was his favorite of the tankers and bombers that he flew. Miss my hero, my dad Lt. Col E. C. Burton.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Thank you for your service and sharing your last flight. My hat goes off to you. My wife's uncle was a retired Colonel with over 24K logged hours. He started with the Army Air Corp in 1945 and lied about his age to enter the war as a fighter pilot. He flew through Korean war where the USAF changed him to helicopters. He also flew through the beginning of Vietnam. He later opened his own helicopter flight school and flew for years for "Carson Helicopters." Three war vet. My dad was a retired USAF vet. Our son is currently active USAF with close to 10 years under his belt. Watching your video brought back MANY memories and tears to my eyes. Best of luck on the farm and God Bless you.
Sounds like your family is full of military service! Thanks for the comment!
Congrats and thank you for your service sir!
Thanks Mark!
Welcome home, sir!
Heck yeah!
Congratulations on a great career and joining us retirees in the next stage of life.
Thanks! Now I just need to figure out the VA game!
Thank You for your service... Congrats on your retirement. The flybys were awesome!!
The weather didn't cooperate that day, but I did what I could. Thanks!
Congratulations Rod!! Best of luck to you as you focus on farming full time!! I had a great time working with you at HQ Air Mobility Command and I’m very happy that you got to finish out your flying career with the Ohio ANG!!
Thanks Ed! I learned a lot from you! Keep sharing your travels around the world!
