Getting some great shots of the equipment in action. I bet you got absolutely covered in dust after the shot of the combine unloading. As always thanks for sharing the videos with us all. I'm glad to see no major problems during harvest.
Hi Rod. You and Van must be so proud of those boys. They may fool around but I did not see their faces glued to cell phones 😎 You guys did a great job raising them.
You’ll get tired of me saying this but from a disabled country boy from Missouri thank you. My daddy was army and Air Force both 1945 1947. I was Army National Guard nine years. Farming Gets in your blood. One of the worst things for some people lol! Thank you again God bless
Whenever I had the chance to take leave. I would go back to the farm and help my Dad, Uncle, and Grandfather fill silos. I always planned during the harvest season. They were always happy to have a tractor/silage wagon operator. Plus the sound of that Detroit engine working hard on that 2 row self propelled Fox Chopper. Wow! those were the days.
Cool to watch those young boys driving the combine and the grain truck. They know what it means to work hard and not lay around watching Tik Tok video's.
great video, the drone footage was great, very interesting, liked it a lot, how long have you been flying the big ones, refueling must be nerve-wracking, and you got the right music for that harvest
That is cool ..your son is like your wingman driving that equipment besides you catching the crop😇✈️. Maybe a future fighter pilot? Or Blue Angel/Thunderbird.
As always your videos of the scenery is second to none. You live in a beautiful area. It didn't take long for the boys to get loading the grain cart down pat, they did a great job. Two boys to be proud of.
Thanks for doing what you do. I enjoy freedom and beef, in that order. BTW, I've got a cousin in Chili Town, so I enjoy your channel and Jeremy's. Greetings from the piedmont of Georgia.
The joys and fears of turning your kids loose on equipment. The fear comes from knowing what can go wrong, and! Knowing what kind of stupid stuff we did at their age! But the proud usually outweighs the fears.
Great video and music Rod. One question. I see you harvest straight with rows in soybeans. Others go diagonal. I’m sure it’s just a preference, but would like to know if there really is reason. Heck anyone can answer if they know. Just a small dairy farm guy from NY. Thanks
The thought behind going diagonal is that the beans feed into the combine better, therefore you lose less beans. There may be something to that, I don't know. We don't notice a lot of beans left on the ground doing it the way we do it.
Hope you don't crash your drone like a number of other YouTubing farmers including a certain time BJ earned a wager as I'd rather imagine that it would be embarrassing as a pilot. But excellent shots and brilliant video as usual.
Your videos are great. The boys did a wonderful job also. Thank You and your family for sharing your wonderful videos with us all. 😊
Awesome to see the boys out there pitching in.

Teaching those boys well. They will grow up to be fine responsible men. World needs a lot more of em for sure
I sure hope so!
Great video. Nice job! Thanks

Yep! When I was on Active Duty, I burned many days of leave going back to the farm!
Another great video Rod . Great to see the next generation taking care of business.
Thanks Bill! I just hope that their enthusiasm carries over when it's time to build fence......

Nice job from the boys, makes you proud...

Going on 15 years!
Thankfully, I'm not in back of the aircraft very often, or I might quit, haha!

He's still figuring out what he wants to do. Time will tell I guess!

Yeah, I'm sure we're not the only farm dads apprehensive about turning the young ones loose. Gotta teach them young!

Love this one, too. Yep, Luke and CJ did a great job! Hopefully they will be the 6th generation on the Jones Farm! Love your music choices!😉🥰
