2 reasons why Rossi locks up after assembly
Just a quick vid to give 2 of the reasons why once assembled the Rossi can lock up/jam, make sure bolt pin is in flush with side of bolt and make sure bolt pin stop screw is not too long.

Just seeing what 7.62 will do to a 6mm steel plate at 50yds,also shot it with factory American Eagle 357 at same distance which just dented it.

I think mine is broke lol I can’t get it to work
Thank you very much you helped me a lot, not very instinctive to replace the lever on a Rossi 92. Keep on your good work !
The Rossi 92 is a bit of a 'challenge.' Wish Rossi would put more into quality control of parts fitting.
once I purchased this scale, I threw my Hornady digital scale in the trash, PIECE OF JUNK. The Lee scale is simple and nothing to go wrong on it.
Thanks... very helpful
Where did you get the after market spring, for the ejector I think it'd be ??
Binge watching all your R92 content.
Another great, helpful video from the ROSSI MAN.
LOVE this video!!! I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.
By far the best video on UA-cam demonstrating this process
Thank you, so well done in every aspect.
@@jmcloughlin Thanks back.
Talky, no? (I'm kidding, excellent video. Thank you)
meanwhile the other drivers on the highway are asking, whats that dude doing leaning into his open trunk?
Can not understand one word you're saying
I lost the collar once, just before OK corral kicked off😂
Thank god for the simplicity of ar15s
Best video i have ever seen on this rifle. Thank you so much mister.
Thanks.
Well done

******** HEY DUDE THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VID IT WAS MY ISSUE AND SAVED ME LOTS OF FUSTRATION !!!!!!!!! ***** THIS WAS A GREAT VID **** 5 STAR VID !!! *******
Great video. Thank you.
Took it half apart why not all the way like your title suggest
Excellent video sir. Very well done and informative. I watched as I took down my mags for the very first time. Virgins no longer.
Such a clear and helpful video.
Looks beautiful. Can you tell me which wood dye and the color of it that you used? I have the same rifle and intend on getting the same dark finish.
Broooo how is it this easy for everybody else?? 😢😢😢 fuck this gun. Once i get it put back together this thing aint never gettin took apart again i promise on my life. 😂😂
I have a Rossi gallery 22lr pump. It has 6.5 lbs of trigger pull can you advise me on how to lower this to 3 or 4 lb, Can this be done, thanks Regards Shayne
Got a question for ya did you swap out all your inner springs?
Certainly did, cheers.
My pin won't go in, it was hell to take out too. with or without the bolt
Eight years later, and I found this video to be the best, most informative tutorial on You Tube. The camera work and angles, to include the lighting, were excellent. I have been struggling with reassembling my 10/22's trigger group, and had almost decided to take it to a gunsmith. Thank you so much for the tutorial and the calmness-in-your-voice presentation. Cheers!
@RobnPhx1 cheers,your welcome.
thank you!! i was so frustrated today trying to put it together. i wasn’t even trying to disassemble everything completely, everything just started to fall out when i took the bolt out for cleaning. this video saved me and made me realize it’s easier than i thought!
you are really good in explanation
Thank you sir!
Bonjour Monsieur, quelle munition vous donnait les meilleurs résultat avec cette norinco??? Vous étes un trés bon tireur!!!
My club, Peveril Rifle Club, Isle of Man, shoots at 25m and 50m only. I have the Rossi 92 same as yours only the blued version. I'm really considering changing to the Marbles tang sight as my ageing eyes don't let me shoot too well with the semi-buckhorn sights that it came fitted with. But I[m a little confused as to what to order. Can you possible list the items ( parts numbers ) you mounted to your rifle. Your three videos are excellent. Clear, concise, and extremely explanatory. Well done. Wish there were more like it. Many thanks for your efforts.
One of the absolute best demonstrations I’ve ever seen in a UA-cam video. Clear and concise straight to the point.
Thanks for that,cheers.
Just so you know, That "claw" on the left cartridge guide is in fact the magazine cartridge stop, and if it and the spring aren't inserted correctly, it will turn your life into a living hell with feeding and loading issues by allowing cartridges to pop out of the magazine and jam the loading gate and wedging the front of the gate out of the receiver etc, etc etc.... ask me how I know. Thank you for showing how it fits correctly. The spring tension on this stop is critical. Also the loading gate screw needs to be TIGHT! Don't mar the receiver by jumping out of the screw slot and skidding the screwdriver across it. These are just not fun to work on... everything fits too tightly and screw alignment is a pain to get right. I spent 3 hrs trying to get the extractor spring back on as some others showed. It was easy once I realized that you just put the damn thing back together and let the dummy cartridge hold it in alignment in the chamber and then insert the knurled head bolt pin thru the receiver to hold it in place. Don't hammer on it, just move it around until it starts and then drive it in without letting the cartridge come back out of the chamber.( Pour a stiff drink here) You WILL NOT be able to slip the extractor spring past the firing pin shelf as shown. forget it. John M Browning probably became a raging Mormon alcoholic designing this gun....
Very good reassembling demo .Thanks
Glad you liked it!
That action is gravy. I can tell you did a lot of work. The bullets go in so easily like its nothing. Bravo
Very helpful, thank you!
Excellent tutorial !
I have a blued, 24" octagonal barreled .357 Mag R92 with the same tang sight. Love it. Mine has the stock front bead which I've found wholly adequate. Of course, mine has a longer sight radius... I have a vid on my channel showing mine. Thanks for the review. I like that globe sight... that would be great for target shooting.
I changed my Stainless 92 lever to a large loop. It didn't go anything like this take down did. Getting the bolt back in was a sob!!! Did everything right and it still constantly hung up and would not go in. Finally after about an hour it popped in,still do not know why! Also the ejector set up is a total rube goldberg design with that little collar that you have to push behind the small supporting strut, while you are holding onto the bolt with a dummy round? Really? WOuld be better if you had three hands!🤔. OMG, what a nightmare. Unless there is some compelling reason to break this down again. I won't be doing it any time soon!!🤪 However, the video was the only thing that saved me!! Well done and thank you!
The parts are just machined super bad lots of bugs and tight tight fits ALOT of people tear them down and Polish the parts because of that and makes them run smoother
CHEERS.
I really informative video, not
Brilliant! clear and easy to follow. Many Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thank you SO much for this. I couldn’t figure out what was going on and it was driving me insane.
You're welcome!
Do you know where to get a new cardridge guide? Mine is broken right down the spring...
Mine made it over 20 years with no cleaning!
Excellent video. Perfectly clear. Thanks for sharing.
