This is the best video I've seen on the net to tear down a Rossi. There's a lot of other good ones, but this guy isn't afraid to add good lighting where you can see what he's doing. So many of the other videos, it's too dark to see a damn thing. Like working down in a dungeon.
Bolt back in with ejector and dummy round. I set the bolt as i your video. I cannot put the lever back. It gets to the point where it can move the bolt forward and back loosely but will not fully locate. I have checked everything several times. Locking lugs set correctly and it slides 75% into place but no further.
It sounds to me that the ejector assembly is not properly in , dont worry, just make sure you check everything again, let me know how you get on , cheers.
Hi from the Czech Republic (central Europe). I would like to thank you very much for your video (both parts actually). I bought my new Rossi rifle quite recently and I wanted to clean it properly from the factory mess that was in it. Took me quite a while even with the help of three videos, from which yours are the best in quality and with helpful comments. You were the first to mention that if my tank is really tight I ought to use the hammer. That was exactly my problem and I wouldn't think about using a hammer (even carefully) at all. Great thanks!!
Thanks for that Dennis, there is a place in Europe that sells all Rossi parts, google Taurus Rossi waffen ferkinghof, strange name i know but they do sell parts, cheers.
finaly found a clear and well explained video on striping down the rossi 92, well explained clear video, .! finaly i can go ahead and thoroughly clean mine inside. great video well done my rossi.
Glad you made this video. My wife's rossi is rough as cob and must have been assembled when quality control department was on holiday. Was a bit reluctant to tear into it until now. Thanks a lot.
Where did you get that rear sight?

How do I get my magazine off? It seems to have slid forward and now I can not load rounds into my rifle
2:20 you said to remember the way the part goes in. I put mine wrong and can't get the action open.. How can I get the action open now?
Hi,dont panic as long as you haven't forced anything you should just be able to wiggle out the lever and blocks and try again, cheers.

Got same problem and no info at all ftw

Oi
could you do a video of changing the standard lever to a 3/4 large loop lever from steves guns
Never used a large loop lever but I would imagine its just a straight swap for the original, cheers.
Deine Rossi ist aber sehr sauber. Sehr hilfreiches Video, schon x-mal angesehen 👍
Vielen Dank fur das, prost.
