A lot of that "keeping games hostage" with Sony is not working the way they wanted it to.. Sure, you have more of a user base because of keeping games off xbox.. But it's no garuntee that the so called 65 million user base is engaging in software.. Sony has the potential with it's user base, but doesn't know what to do with it.. It's essentially marketing the "most popular console" but failed to engage with it's audience.. Astrobot proves that, you sell 1.5 million with 60.5 million Playstation users.. (1.5÷60.5= 0.0248) That's 2.48% of the 60 million played astrobot 😅 PS5 exclusives Returnal 1.1 million sales God of war Ranorak 15 million Ratchet an Clank Rift apart 2.7 million Grandturismo 7 sales on PS5 was never released.. My point is, 60 million with low numbers on sofware is why they are copying Microsoft and putting it's sofware on other platforms like PC and xbox.. ( MLB The Show, Death Stranding) Making remakes after remakes isnt working..

I want Microsoft to return to its roots of the Original Xbox and to ant extent, the Xbox 360. Both consoles were highly innovative and very much powerful for their time. The hardware capability of both consoles allowed Microsoft to have the best ports of every game for close to a decade! Both consoles were intelligentlg designed, very clean in interface and functionality, and ushered in innovative multiplayer gaming in a streamlined and smooth experience. When I had my PS2 with Twisted Metal Black, Red Faction, and Devil May cry, I was extremely envious of my Xbox friends with their OG Halo, Mech Assault, and Unreal Championship. The visual fidelity was just insane and PS2 couldn't compete. It was the first time we ever saw high frequency texture work with ultra detailed textures and bump mapping. Xbox 360 came out an entire year ahead of the PS3 and slapped it around in almost every single multi platform comparison in the early days of digital foundry, and some of those Xbox 360 ports even performed more smoothly and had less technical bugs than the PC versions in that awkward late 2000s era. Microsoft innovated on HD, the Xbox 360 could hook up to ANY monitor over VGA before HDMI was even a norm and output at all kinds of insane resolution outputs, it's internal GPU scaler was also far superior to both PS3 and PC. I hope Microsoft finds their way back to making a highly threatening technical monster that scares Sony again, and I want them to do it with solid IPs and maybe even a few exclusives (even though they swore it off) because Sony has gotten so lax, it's past time they had a rude awakening in the larger market, and its far long overdue that we get a true Halo, Project Gotham, and Mech Assault modern experience.

Sad…I’m a PlayStation fan always support them but not blindly like these idiots. What makes me mad are the delusional comments that they want Xbox to fail. Without Xbox keeping PlayStation in check, we will see worse than the already anti-consumer decisions they have made this generation. The reason PS4 did so well was because Sony was humbled after Xbox 360. Now it’s reversed again.

Yeah most of us PC gamers have an Xbox game pass. We got every game we could ever want on fitgirl repacks. We got steam which ports half the sony games. I cant believe ponys would even go there with available games. Even sim racing is much better on PC despite no GT7 - which btw, IS the one Sony game I wish I had. I can't think of a single other game. I loved PS3 btw! But PS4 was so boring (no new boxing games, no new elder scrolls games etc) that I just never got a PS5. Why would I when I have a 4080 with 4x a PS5 performance and 170% faster than the Pro? I just cant see the point in buying a PS5 for a single game (GT7) when I can just play it on ps4 - and even then i cbf buying it. If Sony had a good PC game pass, with games like GT7, they would make heaps more sales imo. But they still actually want the closed ecosystem. In one way I can see an advantage to that, and that's keeping hackers out, cheating down, and keeping the playing field level. At least on Playstation you wont get PC hackers. But that's really its only advantage. It actually costs more in the long run to game on consoles I feel

PlayStation and likely Nintendo will also fall in line, if you have a way to put your games everywhere and make twice the money then why should you ignore it?. Exclusivity be damned, its about reach and software sales that will determine real competition and less focus on the hardware.

I got a pro; let’s be real for a second.. it’s not a 4090 or even a 4070.. it’s not entirely bad but seriously, let’s call it for what it is.. the only thing I dislike is having to dig through the settings to find a display mode in comfortable with..

Buying A PS5 Pro for potentially 1- 3 exclusives a year is a fools game

Instead of getting the pro I have spent the money on games. No regrets, and I can afford the pro, it just does not seem worth it. To see the benefits you need a top of the line 70 inch oled tv which makes me think your tv is making more of a difference than the console is doing. I have seen lots of people say it not worth it and they are taking it back to the store for a refund.

The PS5 pro is not worth the money. I own all three consoles. I play more on my xbox series x than my either two. I only on the Playstation 5 for their first party games that is it.

bro the ps5 pro is worse than you think, i tested 4 units and and all come with masive coil whine and thermal throttling after 40 mins in stellar blade !!!!. stellar blade have 80 fps in pro mode but after 40 mins is 60-65 becose over heats and the fan ramps up like crazy

i think consoles in general is a scam i mean the series x has a 3700x which is very bad for todays standards(4k)i mean dude why people are not getting pc s consoles are just so bad i like playsation only because of the exclusives hardware...no is a weak console in my opinion only the ssd is good i know pc s are a little bit expensive but they are fucking worth it over consoles

Imagine getting rid of the brilliant people behind EverQuest, Champions of Norrath, SOCOM, MAG, Warhawk, Days Gone, Modnation Racers, Wipeout, Syphon Filter, and then going on to shelve Resistance, Infamous, Killzone, Twisted Metal, Jak & Daxter and then giving us The Last of us Re-remastered 2 times over, woke trash games and then re-mastering Strong woman Horizon Zero Dawn and we still don't have a bloodborne 4k 60 fps patch. Very few good gaming experiences this generation and most of which was accessible on last gen PS4 PRO and PC ports. I've got decently deep pockets for this hobby and I absolutely love consoles for things like optimization becuase when they do a good job, its a solid experience. Coupled with unique features and solid exclusives that leverage unique technology or every part of the console to give unique gameplay experiences. Yeah we got none of that this gen. Bro I'm probably gonna be PC exclusive next gen. As a long time Sony fan (at least from PS1 to PS3) I'm beyond disappointed with Sony, developers, and the idiotic consumer and ignorant fan base.

Actually it's a good job these guys only buy the PS5 Pro. Imagine the mess of a build of a PC they would make if they can't even work out the positives and negatives of a "professional" console with a 5 year old CPU. They would burn money on the wrong PC components and waste a fortune. They both use the same CPU though lol. Ones simply overclocked at a higher frequency. PC is the ultimate king but I would much rather play on a PlayStation versus Xbox and I have them both.
