Ive a friend who said similar things about taking his daughter to the park. Ive never had this issue with taking either of my daughters or my neices to the park, or play centre. I feel really lucky about this.

My mother adopted me when I was two. When I was in primary school, I was maybe 14, she got cancer. At school I couldn't count on anyone, teachers seeing my academic decline instead of being interested in what was happening, humiliated me and threatened to call my mother. Once after such a situation I said that it was fine but I didn't know if my mother would be able to get out of bed and come. I left and slammed the door. After my mother beat cancer, she said that if it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have fought. She didn't want to leave me, especially after what I had been through. She always said that she prayed to God that if he had to take her, he would do it when I was an adult and independent.
