Never take more than $500 from one card??? Bruh, that’s still a LOT of money for “groceries”, especially if this is many yeas in the past. With how many cards you probably encounter and deal with on a daily basis as a retail worker, you could easily acquire enough cards to only take $20 from each and still end up with what you need, but setting your limit at $500???
@hangingWg even so It's not hard to understand Money is a VERY difficult situation nowadays And when people are desperate They watch out for their own But the fact that he still feels guilty shows his character If it were most people I know they wouldn't even bat an eye at such a thing
@hangingWg I hope one day you are not in a situation that requires you do to do something against your morals to save or protect the people you love and care for. And if that happens I hope the people who are judging you show you more compassion then you are showing this person. It’s not right what they did but you aren’t right in judging them with no empathy.

Desperation is no excuse for breaking the law... there is no excuse to empathize with OP... they have no care for others and their situation, OP assumed it wouldn't effect anyone else... meanwhile he stole someone's birthday present for an elder family member, their payment for a child's medical procedure, someone's emergency bill payment fund, ruined someone's life...
OP didn't know the circumstances of the people he robbed, that 500 bucks could Jane been the difference between making rent that month and homelessness. If he'd said 50, I might be more forgiving, although someone like my daughter would DEFINITELY notice 50 quid gone from her account, and almost instantly too. I can almost understand stealing from big corporations (they probably "waste" more than they get stolen), but stealing from mom and pop stores or random customers you serve, that's just plain wrong.
@leannes1083 even stealing from big corporations is bad!!! That only increases the price of the products for those who are paying!!! Stop thinking ANY theft is okay, that is part of why our governments are so soft on crime!!!
I understand desperate times call for desperate measures, but $500 dollars? If I noticed even less than half of that missing from my account, I’d be crying and panicking on how I’d make things work. There are a lot of people who struggle with finances, and depending on the retail store, some of those customers would’ve been barely better off than OP. They likely caused unneeded stress to many people, people who they don’t know the life of. They could’ve been single parents, cancer victims, disadvantaged elderly, a young person on the verge of homelessness, people in abusive relationships.
If you took 20 quid from me, I'd notice. I'm a poor uni student. If you work retail, you'd have no clue how your victims were doing financially. I could spare a tenner but £500 would put me out on rent.
I totally understand the desperation, but why didn't you just sell feet pics or something? Would've been way better than potentially putting yourself in jail.
@@GeorgeTankerYT it is a genuine question though. I don't understand why people like feet or find them even remotely attractive, but it's a relatively harmless way of making money and doesn't involve stealing large amounts of money from people who may not have it to give.
