enjoy making MAPLE SYRUP from scratch
Nothing beats gluten free waffles with naturally gluten-free maple syrup. The process is absolutely part of the experience. When winter is dragging on this family past time gets everybody out there tap in the trees, and sailing around the campfire boiling down the sap. Then when it’s all done you have a big celebration with the entire family and enjoy that hard work that it took to make this maple syrup. Sure you could buy it but you can’t buy the experience.

Warning. Fresh herbs, spices or garlic, naturally contains bacteria that will multiply as soon as they are exposed to heat and moisture. You need to eat the tomatoes within a week or you can get sick.

That's not a "rice grinder" that's a grain mill. It makes all kinds of flour including whole wheat. In a pinch, a blender works too.

I have one suggestion, you add salt to tomoto before drying, when you will add salt, lots of juice will come out, keep it 5 to 12 hours you pass it through filter, drain the water and let it dry the process will become easier and smooth. In India we make lots of sundried pickle, we add salt and turmeric and remove juice from fruits. After two days, we put spices. Please visit Arabic site how to sundry the tomato. They also add salt. Namh shivay.

Well I tried this recipe with doubled the ingredients for twice the amount. It ruined my homemade chicken soup that I had simmering for three hours. First the dumplings I dropped into the simmering soup didn't cook into a firm consistency and it thickened the broth to an annoying paste like texture. The dumpling batter was thick so I don't understand why it fell apart in the pot. So I then cooked the batter into a firmer dough and then added that to the soup. This time the dumplings were holding together but they were very dense and heavy. I thought I followed the recipe well but it didn't work for me. For what it's worth I still appreciate your effort with your recipe.

I have few questions regarding how to store them. Do you CAN them? like put hot oil uptil top and close lid so they can pop and air seal? Do you have any preservatives? salt, garlic, mustard seeds, citric acid are kind of natural preservatives. Why store bought are air sealed and full of artificial preservatives like nitrites and sulfitees?

When you store them in olive oil... do you just fill the jar, remove air bubbles and put on a lid? Or is there a step to seal them for storing? How long will they store in oil? I assume they just go on a shelf or do they need refrigerated? Wonderful video - trying to learn how to do this myself - thanks

We’ve just stored them in the olive oil, we’ve never refrigerated them, I haven’t had any problem storing them for at least a year, there are usually eaten up by then though. They are definitely a favorite. A bagel and cream cheese is one of our favorites.
