Hey there, fellow scale modeler and history enthusiast!
I'm Julian, a mid-20s student and scale modeling enthusiast. On this UA-cam channel, I break down complex model-building projects into easy-to-follow steps. It is particularly important to me not only to show techniques or rely solely on visual appeal, but above all to tell a special story.
Each build is the result of countless hours of research, planning, and creative storytelling. I believe that Dioramas and Scale models truly come alive when they tell a story. My projects often explore the darker side of history or extraordinary events that have shaped our world. This fascination often influences my storytelling and therefore model-building choices.
❗IMPORTANT❗
I would like to point out clearly that I distance myself from all misanthropic ideologies and the glorification of war. No project should and may be understood as support of certain ideologies! I stand for the opposite and a discrimination-free and peaceful world!

Let's Build a Blown Up WW1 Trench Diorama! | 1/35
In this video, I'll guide you through building a 1/35 scale diorama depicting a damaged World War I trench with a Machine Gun 08 team. We'll start by constructing the base, featuring a realistic trench and a shell crater. Then, I'll demonstrate how to assemble the MG 08 machine gun and incorporate authentic details like sandbags and barbed wire, all based on historical research.

6 Advantages of Airbrushing with Water-Based Acrylic Paints | Vallejo | AMMO Mig | AK 3. Gen. | ICM
Переглядів 2,3 тис.Рік тому
Hello and welcome to my video. Today I present 6 advantages that water-based acrylic paints have for airbrushing. I now only use such paints because the disadvantages of solvent-based paints outweigh the advantages for me and I have been able to achieve a new level of modeling skills with these paints, as I can work much longer and more relaxed with these paints, which also shows in the results...

Respect to you! Very good work! Thank you!
25:50 so, just to let you know, the Germans didn't really do this, the Austrians did this though, and specifically common amounts the Austrian sturmtupen
This poem scares the living hell out of me. This dio and poem shows the true horrors of war.
Шедеврально. И ролик тоже, конечно же!)
First, i have to say I love your style of videos. I don't comment much, but when i find a new creator i like to let them know that they have a new follower enjoying their work. Can't wait to see your projects painted👌🏻
Your attention to the small details is quite stunning and takes the elements of the diorama to an incredible level. 😮
Very fine dio!!! I´m imressed. Do you use any pigment fixer for the vms mud?
It's a real art that transcends good modeling. It's a great piece of work!
I cant belive ive only just found your video's these are epic i love the detail great job it look stunning
I really enjoy these trench dioramas....great job.
Wonderful work. Your attention to detail makes for beautiful work. And your filming skills are as good as our beloved "Night Shift". You have the gift my friend. I can wait to see more ..;)
A bit overboard on the human remains…
If there is one thing I can reccomend, it is to not cut the veneer in the way you did (which was cutting towards your fingures) because it can end painful.. Other then that, you did a fantastic job on this diorama! Love to see very detailed artworks like this 100% going to subscribe for more! :D
At last! A WWI (or any war diorana) showing a partly destroyed trench! Brim full of very useful info. Did a captured, partially destroyed Hindenberg Line trench (the extra wide, deep o es to double as anti-tank obstacles) myself. Wish I could send photos to you as it has the destroyed part taken as a Vickers MG nest, chevaux de frise, and a lot of Tommy infantry with huge amounts of weaponry, equipment, ammo, etc.
nice, nice, nice. ... he, he, great diorama and great short too.
Awesome work.
Brilliant little scene. And excellent video and narration, as well. Thanks
Nice tutorial Julian :) Nice strait forward and very informing. Keep up the good work and model on . Have a nice weekend my friend :) Greetings Ozzy
Congratulations on your thesis!
Outstanding
Superb attention to detail..wonderful to see the project take shape.
Thank you very much for these kind words!
Fantastic work! Subbed!
Thank you very much for your kind comment!
Moin 🤘🏻Julian. Was soll man dazu sagen.
Superbe !!! 😮
merci beaucoup! :)
Stunning vignette of a Western Front scene, your attention to detail is outstanding and shows a level of skill well beyond my own. Blown away
Thank you for the overwhelmingly kind words! I really appreciate it!
@@ModeliteDiorama You are very welcome.
You created such intense details!!! Really incredible 😊😊😊
Thank you as always very much for your kind words!
@ you are very welcome 🤗
this is incredible! I love your level of detail
Many thanks for the very kind words! :)
Another incredible WW1 piece😦👌 Love your work, & the amount of detail you put into such a small piece. Improving the quality of the figures, the attention to reproduce something from original images, it’s impressive! A dynamic diorama - well done👏😊
Hello Barbarossa, thank you very much for your very nice comment. I really appreciate these kind words. And I was also very happy and pleased about your last WW1 scene!
Bravo 👏
Thank you for commenting! :)
wow it looks amazing, cant wait to see final result🤩🤩
Thank you very much! And the video with the final result won't take too long, since everything is finished, only the creation of the video and script will take some time!
Hello Julian, I'm Erwin... from Belgium... not so far away... like you, I'm passionate about building dioramas, especially World War One stuff... recently dicovered your channel, and I must say, I'm speechless... you are a perfectionist, this and your other work is pure perfection, really... I have much respect for people like you... thank you so much for the inspiration, the ideas and the techniques you share with all of us... Erwin
Hello Erwin, thank you very much for your overwhelmingly nice comment! I was very pleased that you are enjoying my scene and video so much! If you also do WW1 stuff, I'd love to see some of your work! Is there somewhere I can get a glimpse of it? Best regards to Belgium
@@ModeliteDiorama You're welcome, Julian... Yes, you can, I have some pictures of my work in progress of a WWI trench in 1/16th scale, with nine figures on it... if I could obtain an email adress or something, I could send it to you... Kind regards... Erwin
@@ModeliteDiorama You're welcome, Julian... Yes, you can... I have alot of work in progress pictures of my WWI trench in 1/16 th scale, with about 9 figures on it... if you could provide me with an email adress or something, I would send them to you... Kind regards... Erwin

this fits the boots boots boots song soo well verry nice man you deserve more subs
Yes, I also think that the senselessness and dullness as well as the lunacy of the First World War fit this poem very well. Thank you very much for the nice comment! :)
excellent!
Thank you very much for the nice comment!
Lobe the fallen tree creating an arch as a cover for the machine gun crew. That structure also creates a more pronounced 3-Demensional environment for cinematic videography; photography too! ; )
Thank you very much for your comment and the kind words. :) Always nice to hear from you again! And yes, that's exactly why I integrated the tree into the scene!
Is it a part of all quiet of western front? 🤔
No, this is just a small interim project, but this scene is also set on the Western Front during the First World War! :)
Buen trabajo, excelente interpretación de la I gerra mundial. Esperando ver el resultado final.👏🏼
BEST DIORAMA I'VE EVER SEEN
Superb diorama, impressive details!
Thank you very much Phil!
Absolutely amazing diorama the detail and the historical accuracy is truly incredible
i bet if they had like 1/3 1/2 size models youd probably make one
Why is the gunner helmet backwards
So that the gunner can look up better while lying down
The poem is...nothing. theres no beginning...no end...but there is something most poems do not have. INTENSITY...INTENSIFYING...DEEPENING...GROWING...NEVER ENDING...BUILDING...TO...CLIMAX...and then absolutely nothing °~°
Ma quanto sei bravo😮😮😮😮😮 complimenti che dettagli....fantastico lavoro
Can you buy these? And if, where?
daumn
Thank you!
This was a early war era propaganda technique the British had created and aired to attempt to essentially, freak out the enemy
You should have used bmp running gear like they did in the movie lol
In the war… if your eyes drop they will get a top of you boots boots boots boots moving up and down again there’s no discharge in the war …….. try try try try to think of something different oh my god keep me from going lunatic boots boots boots boots moving up and down again there’s no discharge…
