2:48 those internet armchair racers clearly have no idea what they're talking about because Speed Academy channel have tested both the AR1 and R888R and the AR1 is about a sec faster around 1 minute track, Tyre Reviews channel also tested the R888R and it's only half a sec faster than a 300 TW Michelin PS4S which is ridiculous, toyo tires is basically an overhyped tyre company that spent more money on windscreen banners and stickers marketing than actual R&D

I noticed you said 24psi, is that due to the heat and pressure increase when on the track? What tyre pressure do you use on the rear also? I run 28 psi front and 30 psi rear on my car atm I have just some crappy Pirelli tyres atm but have just got a set of Ns2r’s and wonder what sort of pressure difference there is when they are hot?

These tyres were so heroically grippy in the dry, that I fitted another set for road-use. Noisy again, but massive fun.

I drive a heavily mapped 2.2tdci Smax with NS2Rs fitted on 17" wheels. I never do track days. Why? Probably because I'm a bit of a fool, but I love the way they look, and given that I had to fit 45 profile instead of 50, it feels amazingly different from behind the wheel, a lot like I'd put harder springs and dampers in. I'd mention that I switch to winter tires on the front for winter months as they're not great in cold and damp conditions, pretty slidey - but I will now always run NS2Rs as my summer tire. Massive increase in steering sharpness and weight, and grip in the dry once you've got a bit of heat in them is awesome. If you're an enthusiastic driver, and for the money, I'd definitely say go for it 😁

would this make a good tire for street use? I have a 1970 2002 for spirited driving and all the tires on size R13 185 60 are either street vintage rubbish or full-on racing compounds. I wish i could get something like a Michelin pilot super sport but unfortunately thats not an option so. Would this do the trick? not looking to do track days, just spirited mountain driving...

im an ex driver of theirs for 10 years, half the battles was actually how things are sent and not with the drivers, the drivers only get blame because they are the only person from the company you see (i get some drivers do treat things badly doesnt matter what company they are all the same). Most of the time though parcels are wrecked before they even get to the back of my van the amount of times ive spent fixing boxes as best you could was unreal. otherwise its actually not a bad job....if you dont look into the management side which is well we wont go there.

To be honest it doesn't bother me that much because it's on UA-cam and not on the telly. If they brought it back on the telly in the same CGI from the UA-cam videos but kept the same premise of the actual show, then I would've said well done. But they made a right choice leaving it on the internet instead of airing it on Cbeebies cause honestly that's what those videos are made for, the shit side of UA-cam and generally, I think they'll be forgotten about in a few years.

Sender correctly gave my details to Parcelforce, they scanned the same delivery code for two parcels and sent mine and another parcel to same sender, wait for it, to Singapore rather than UK??? It arrived in Singapore at destination, the person has received my package but Parcelforce say that they are not going to pickup and deliver it back to me in UK. They say it's lost so I should just raise a lost item refund. No it's not lost!!! It's a vintage, unique item, not something I can just buy from Tesco or Asda. Guy in Singapore was kind enough to send images of it with delivery details at his apartment in Singapore. Shocking customer service. How difficult is it for Parcelforce to pay for delivery back to the UK?
